QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Nov 15, 2010 -> 11:12 PM) Who has played better this season? With out looking at stats, Phillip Rivers would be the only one I can even think of off the top of my head.

QUOTE (zenryan @ Nov 15, 2010 -> 10:42 PM) Please someone hire Gruden to be a coach so we dont have to hear him slurp the nuts of every player to ever put on a football jersey. I sincerely hope Tebow doesn't score a td next week or it's going to be unbearable with Gruden.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Nov 15, 2010 -> 06:18 PM) Looking at the replays of Favre's interceptions, he seems to have a bad case of Jay Cutler Syndrome. That is, his WRs are falling down, or the balls get tipped off their hands right at a DB and the fans all jump on him for it and say he sucks. He does right now actually, but that's not the point. His receivers did fall down yesterday but both those passes, especially the one to Shiancoe were thrown way behind his players anyways.

QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 15, 2010 -> 11:43 AM) Really ESPN? Really? The Cowboys win is big because they are now 2-8 on the season? Really? 2-7. Obviously your point remains valid though.

Soxtalk's Biggest Loser Club
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Oct 3, 2010 -> 11:54 PM) Finally got myself back under 200 pounds this week. Think this is the first time I've been there since early in my freshman year of college. By drinking way too damn much and eating too much drunk food I managed to get up close to 230 late last year and I've never been that big before, was pretty awful. Finally got away from Carbondale and changed my eating habits and have been absolutely killing myself working out and finally reached that goal weight of getting under 200 while gaining some of my muscle back. Feels real good, still got some work to do though before I get exactly where I want to be. Down to 187.

QUOTE (zenryan @ Nov 13, 2010 -> 03:52 PM) Congrats on Utah for being the most overranked team in the history of the BCS. Getting rolled by Notre Dame as we speak. They probably just weren't up for the game since they lost their national title hopes last week.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 14, 2010 -> 09:36 AM) And so it was. You cant turn over the ball that much, plus miss all of those layups and bunnies and hope to win. The Illini just enforced their will on those JUCOs and made them look bad. I cant wait until Lowery is gone Lowery is just an embarrassment.

Jermaine Dye wants back.
QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Nov 12, 2010 -> 04:18 PM) That's what some said about Thome also Thome was still putting up a mid .800 ops with us, Dye couldn't bring .800 in 09 and that's while being one of the worst regulars in baseball the 2nd half of that season. Not to mention he's been out of the game for a year now and it'd be a terrible pick up.

Jermaine Dye wants back.
QUOTE (Lillian @ Nov 12, 2010 -> 06:10 AM) I have the same answer to this suggestion that I have to most of the candidates recommended on this forum, ie: "He is another right handed hitter, and this team desparately needs a LEFT HANDED BAT". Or just another good hitter or 3. But Dye makes no sense whatsoever at this point.

Miami might not be able to win 70 by the end of this calendar year. Hilarious.

Who is going to be our best starter next season?
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Nov 11, 2010 -> 02:52 PM) Am I the only one that feels Danks has hit his ceiling? Not saying that's a bad thing. But it seems for the last couple years he was expected to have that 'dominant' season which vaults him into the elite. He's been roughly the same pitcher for the last three years. He's still only 25(26 when the season starts), while it's certainly possible that he's reached his ceiling, I think he's still far too young to say that for sure.

Buehrle wins 2010 P Gold Glove
QUOTE (lostfan @ Nov 10, 2010 -> 07:13 PM) Alexei had 768 fielding chances... Jeter had 553. That's a difference of more than 200. Seriously it's no wonder Jeter only had 6 errors... at least he fields the balls that are hit right to him cleanly. hahahaha, that's ridiculous.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Nov 9, 2010 -> 10:14 AM) If the zombies are similar to those in The Walking Dead or the original Romero films, it might be kind of fun. And if they're similar to those in the new Romero films or 28 Days Later, that's simply terrifying. I've always wanted to fight zombies, seems like fun.

Cooper wants Sale in 2011 bullpen
I agree with Mr. Cooper. It's a really, really tough decision but the fact that our pen is quite thin at the moment and we don't have a lot of money to work with, Chris almost has to be apart of it if we have thoughts of being contenders this season.
