  1. Gameday was pretty fun. My uglyness at one point was the only face on tv, so that's kinda scary.
  2. QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ Jan 25, 2008 -> 11:42 PM) Have fun SIU boys tomorrow at Gameday. I'll do my best.
  3. QUOTE(Brian @ Jan 25, 2008 -> 04:59 PM) Where they setting up their stage? Take a pic of Erin Andrews with your phone and send it to me. I'm not 100 percent sure(I read it a while ago but forgot). And done.
  4. QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ Jan 25, 2008 -> 05:09 PM) I think RPI is more important in College Basketball, what are those number right now?? http://kenpom.com/rpi.php
  5. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Jan 25, 2008 -> 03:55 PM) Link? We're not good, but I would imagine DePaul has a top-20 SOS. 20 on the dot.
  6. Everyone better watch College Gameday tomorrow. It'll be the highlight of our season.
  7. I'll take Memphis and UCLA up against any other teams. For my money, those are the two best teams in the country.
  8. Lost on another buzzer beater on a phantom foul. Unreal, this team can't catch a break.
  9. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Jan 23, 2008 -> 03:50 PM) Guitar Hero is more addictive than heroin. That's all. Heroin hero?
  10. 1. Chicago 2. New York Everything else My least favorite big city is easily L.A.
  11. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jan 23, 2008 -> 12:51 PM) Five hours. I urge people to support everyone's favorite mid major playing major college athletics, Iowa State. GO CLONES
  12. There have been some deals that I haven't liked just looking at that deal only but I really like what Kenny has done overall. But once again, the starting rotation scares the hell out of me(sorry balta).
  13. Best: 2005, nuff said Worst: Last years SIU-KU game. Felt like my world just ended.
  14. Big time game in the Valley tonight with Drake playing at Creighton. If Drake wins they have a strangle hold on the conference already but if they lose, they come back to the pack a little bit and a few teams jump right back into the race.
  15. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jan 22, 2008 -> 12:49 AM) I've very much against giving away MacDougal. I'm with ya. If someone is actually willing to give up something for him then I'd all be for trading him but I'd rather keep him around and hope he bounces back than to just give him away.
  16. I think the Giants will hang around for a while but I give them a whole 0 percent chance of winning.
  17. QUOTE(SnB @ Jan 21, 2008 -> 01:55 PM) we stayed in the holiday inn a few blocks away from the stadium last year. Good location to the stadium, but not much else. If you're going, rent a car because where the stadium is located is all industrial, not that much to do. We had to cab it to go into "downtown" tucson and that cost a fortune. Heh, that's where I stayed when I went in 05. There is absolutely nothing around there.
  18. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jan 17, 2008 -> 02:20 PM) You guys should hear/see the auto dealership voice guy in southern illinois. His name is Dan something or another, and his catch phrase is "You come and see us" with a really thick southern drawl, the guy is just DRENCHED in spray on tan His commercials are so annoying. Im sure Rowand44, Brian, and Sonik22 know exactly who I am talking about Ha, I just saw this. Ya, Dan Walters. The car commercials down here are the worst things on earth, they're god awful.
  19. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Jan 21, 2008 -> 11:51 PM) WITESOX or WITE if I live in a state you live in, and you take those, I will hunt you down Good thing no one lives in North Dakota.
  20. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Jan 21, 2008 -> 10:54 PM) Yes it is It definitely is but a lot of bullpens have a ton of ifs, that's the beauty of a pen I guess you can say. I really like the depth we seem to have in the pen now, we have some nice options.
  21. QUOTE(Brian @ Jan 21, 2008 -> 09:34 PM) I'm not ready to give Carlos Quentin the starting LF spot. Fields and Crede can both start. Quentin will be starting, my friend.
  22. QUOTE(SoxAce @ Jan 21, 2008 -> 09:23 PM) Ditto. Still iffy on the starting pitching, but this team could actually could surprise alot of people. QUOTE(The Critic @ Jan 21, 2008 -> 09:27 PM) They need to make at least one significant addition to the rotation before I get excited about the 2008 Sox. The bullpen seems to have been addressed well - better than last off-season, anyway. The offense should be better than OK with the addition of Cabrera and Swisher, although the leadoff spot is still a concern. But without AT LEAST three reliable starters, I just can't get too pumped up. Yup, I'm in total agreement. I'm getting excited cause I think we can be competitive but the rotation definitely scares the crap out of me.
