Noda is completely worthless. Would much rather screw around with AAAA Elko up here. At least there’s some what of an unknown with him. Noda looks like the worst player in the entire big leagues.

He needs to cash in now on Houser. I’m not convinced he keeps this up in the 2nd half wherever he lands. Also yes, skeptical of the return Getz would get back. He’s probably our best trade chip.

Eh I don’t care about that and neither should the Sox, get the best possible package. And I don’t think Houser is putting them over the top regardless. He’s been great but I can easily see him being fools gold in the 2nd half, honestly.

1B Jonathon Long Cubs #11 prospect is the guy I’d be looking at. Big time numbers in Iowa hitting over 300 with 13 bombs and 54 driven in with a 900 OPS. Has really risen in their system and is a probably a 125-200 guy at this point. Not sure Houser could get him but with Long blocked by Busch at 1B in a year where they are likely going for it, ya never know..

Houser is really on a heater since joining the Sox. What do we think he can realistically net us at this point? Can he get us a Top 200sh guy?

9 days away who we thinking it is next Sunday for the Sox? Feels like the hope is either Carlson or Parker. Not sure either get to 10. If both are off the board would guess Hall or college P. What yall thinking?

27-28 maybe we are singing a different tune. Guessing we are selling off vets this time next year for prospects as well. It’ll be nice when we can stop recycling the prospect convo though I agree.

Hope Houser keeps throwing well. I think it’s possible he can potentially get you a Top 200-250 guy if he stays on this heater. What a win for Getz that would be.

If the 2026 draft was tomorrow I’d think Cholowsky is 1.1 He had a ridiculous sophomore year. Drew Burress, Justin Lebron and a couple prep kids in Grady Emerson and Jacob Lombard are my early guys to watch for 26 class for the Sox. Good year to have a likely top 3 pick with it seeming to be much stronger at the top opposed to this 25 class. We’re getting penalized in the right class with this draft luckily.

Longing for the days we don’t have to see guys like Rojas, Capra, Noda, Slater etc in this lineup any longer. Auto out city with zero future upside.

Capra taking away ABs away from a guy who may be (likely isn’t anything but worth a look) longterm in Baldwin in a completely lost W/L year is stupid. I personally don’t think Baldwin is even a bench depth piece in the future over guys like Perez, Bergolla, Antonacci but I’d sure like to find out in a 23-49 season rather guys like Vinny Capra and Josh Rojas.

I think Sox preference is one of these stud prep SS with one of Parker/Carlson (Willits and Holliday will be gone). And if all 4 are off board I think they pivot to college arm like Doyle if there or Witherspoon.

I’d guess Baldwin and Elko both likely end up as AAAA players but I’d have liked to see Baldwin get more than 3 ABs this go round as well.

I was at the game today, frustrating in person to watch. 1-9 with RISP and the only hit is Teels, kept in the infield holding tying run Robert at 3rd in the 8th. The young “core four” of Vargas, Meidroth, Quero, Teel makes the team watchable in such a garbage year but the lack of timely hitting and awful road offensive woes are maddening. After today we are up 5.5 games in the Tank standings, yay? 🤷🏻‍♂️ lol

No reason for Capra or Palacios to play another game with the big league team. Wasted ABs taking away from Teel/Quero with Palacios. Baldwin should be up tomorrow. Slater may have played the worst game I’ve ever seen. Vargas is heating back up which is fun. Astros played out of their mind defensively, insanely unlucky game for the Sox.
