I’d guess If they swapped Fedde with the Os the return would be something close to Norby and Beavers.

This has always felt most likely to me too.

Norby and Beavers has always felt like the possible package there.

Fedde to the Orioles just makes too much sense even for prospect hugger Mike Elias. If they move him to Baltimore, what’s the realistic return?

You think he gets to 5? Not sure he gets past both Colorado/Oakland. In this case would guess top 5 goes something like 1 Cle- Bazzana 2 Cin- Condon 3 Col- Burns 4 Oak- Montgomery/Wetherholt 5 CWS- Caglianone

Caba, Miller and Crawford would be the dream. Realistically I think you could potentially get Caba, Miller and maybe a lesser prospect like Rincones or Mcgarry. I coached Jordan Viars who has been on a tear in their farm in A ball lately. He’s a 2021 3rd rounder who I coached when he was back in school so selfishly I’d want him just because lol.

This time next week we’ll have a new Sox at pick 5. A week out who does everyone think the Sox will take? NOT who you want them to take. I think it’ll be Konnor Griffin and this would also excite me. 5 tool potential with the kid if he hits.

Lee with an absolute hose. He’ll be a nice pairing with Quero next season.

Yeah I’ve always thought Fedde was more realistic for them the way Elias hoards prospects. Would guess he costs something like Norby and maybe a guy like Beavers or Johnson? Idk

The 3 guys that really matter and look like potential future important pieces all go yard in Charlotte, love it.

Would guess Elko isn’t far behind from a promotion to Charlotte as well.

Collazo was a guest on a pod I was listening to this am was saying how he thinks Rockies may be more prone to go Burns because it’s so hard to get FA SP to come and pitch in that thin Colorado air.

Yeah Callis was talking like he thought he’d go top 3. I agree though I think he’s probably gone at 3 or 4 to Col/Oak respectively

Callis on Sox weekly the other day made it sound like there was no way he’d get to 5 which was kinda interesting to me.

The closer we get to draft day gut feels like it’s going to be either Griffin and Wetherholt and would love either of the two.

Neither look overmatched so far with the big league club too which is exciting. So many young and fun arms in the system. Anxious to see what the bats down on the farm look like after the draft/deadline.

I know we all get excited about the pitchers in Birmingham obviously but the trio of Keener, Bautista and Gordon is a sneaky fun one down in Kanny too.

If it comes down to Griffin vs Wetherholt I will be pumped at either outcome. These are my top 2 preferences. Griffin has legit 5 tool potential and Wetherholt may have the best bat in the entire class.

Yeah, I think Norby is gone before the deadline for a pitcher. Kjerstad would be a great get obviously. If we move Fedde to Baltimore though I will still guess the return is either Beavers+ or Norby. Kjerstad would be awesome however.

Bradish gets TJ. Not sure Elias will actually pony up the prospects to get Crochet but I can see a lighter/lesser move less costly for them to nab Fedde. They have to do something in that rotation now though.
