my tip is always remember there is something to do. Dont sit there and be still and act like this girl or that girl is your whole life, because they arent. Get off your ass and go do something for you. Then when you arent looking, a girl will come hunting for you.

QUOTE (bucket-of-suck @ Aug 26, 2013 -> 03:01 PM) From what I've been told, it sounds like they plan to pursue Abreu very aggressively. You never know what closes it, but it won't be for lack of trying. +1. They are in a good position here.

I have a lot of auto companies as my clients. The two most impressive roadmaps I've seen as well as concepts are BMW and Audi.

Like I said before, Cotts played with us before he went back. Other teams REALLY hate you for it, and I only brought a pitcher who was an average hitter. -
Yes, I'm kind of a homer even though he basically left in shame, but why isnt Pryor Oakland's starting QB? Their O Line is horrible and he is lethal in space.

Finally went to the new bourbon/Pizza place on madison, Old Fifth. VERY good and strong cocktails, however, I HATE putting egg white in drinks. Its f***ing stupid.

QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Aug 23, 2013 -> 11:49 PM) And yet, he probably could've been had in the 3rd round. No matter how good Long looks, you do not draft any guard in the 1st round of an NFL draft. Honestly, kind of true, however getting Mills later on REALLY makes it look ok. In today's NFL I really think the athleticism of your guards dictates what you can do in your offense. They are underrated.

QUOTE (Brian @ Aug 23, 2013 -> 05:07 PM) That's the thing, if she's evicted, who really deserves to win. McRae? If Elissa goes beast mode in comps now, her? No way Aaryn who has been a puppet. Aaryn has a case because of comps, Elisa will lose points because of MVP. Honestly, right now, Andy is playing well. Floating and aligning with everyone.

Kyle Long is legit. Athletic and strong with a mean streak. Perfect pulling guard that can pass protect.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Aug 23, 2013 -> 11:03 AM) He deserves a standing O. It's about the only place he'll ever go in all of the majors and receive an ovation of any type. +1. He was a model white Sox player for us in his time here.

QUOTE (Brian @ Aug 23, 2013 -> 11:03 AM) Amanda annoys the crap out of me. She's playing the best but her DR sessions make it seem like she is trying way too hard in there. Players like her get evicted in the final 5-6 so I think she is done soon. McCrae is smart that if he gets put up next to her then she goes and he stays.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Aug 23, 2013 -> 10:57 AM) The HoH I get, but thought for sure we'd actually see the whole comp to get back into the house, oh well, it's done now. And I'm with you on Helen, couldn't stand her. Did you search spoilers? Good person to return to the game, but the WORST HOH.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Aug 23, 2013 -> 07:28 AM) Ya I know but they were teasing all week that a juror gets back in on Thursday, I figured they'd actually show it, I thought it was kind of weak sauce. Nah they never do. Classic BB. I am so happy Helen is gone, the pushiest holier than thou player in awhile. Her good vs evil schtick was ridiculous.

QUOTE (bbilek1 @ Aug 22, 2013 -> 03:32 PM) Very nice wite, best comparison thrown out yet. Obviously we would want better but not far of and a safe pick. http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/e/encarju01.shtml Jose Canseco outed Magglio before. Considering the era and his knee injury prior to his career best season (which happened at age 33), you have to think Maggs took steroids. It really sucks because Magglio was my first favorite player. I had two jerseys, mimicked his batting stance and everything. His run from '99 to '03 was my first years of watching baseball and he was dominating. Pre-roids Maggs had great gap power. Garcia hits alot like him and has more athleticism.

QUOTE (Boogua @ Aug 22, 2013 -> 02:43 PM) So I googled him and wasn't expecting him to look the way he does. Then I looked at his youtube video and I wasn't expecting him to be the type of player he is. He looks like a good get, but his appearance doesn't really like that of a basketball player and then his game doesn't really look like the game that someone of his appearance would have. I was expecting some white shooter with good fundamentals, not some flashy ball handler that dunks all the time, haha. Yeah, you dont expect a white 6'7" wing with handles and leaping ability. He's the younger brother of freshman LB Mike Mitchell who set the SPARQ record at last year's opening. incredible athleticism in that family. There is also another brother coming down the pipe. Now for Bragg and Kennard.....one can hope. -

5 star Mickey Mitchell commits to Thad. He was a lock anyway. -
I dont understand why thats one of the "best concepts" ever There are cars out there right now that look just like that one, in production. I detest the seam that caddys put down the middle of their cars.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Aug 22, 2013 -> 08:16 AM) Wes is 27. He should have the energy for the challenge given he's entering his physical prime. Anyone over 30 on that show is on HGH. Also, that show rocks. Most the dudes are on steroids now and they give them an entire gym to train with DURING the show. Not sure why its "reliving HS" for some people, none of these people are in HS.

QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Aug 21, 2013 -> 10:50 AM) One day after Cadillac shows off the best looking concept from an American manufacturer in god-knows-how-long Tesla scores well on the idiot proofing tests. Guess which story the public took to? It breaks my heart. ??? You really think that?

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Aug 19, 2013 -> 04:50 PM) FoxSports1 I do like how they have more fun than ESPN, it's a looser look at sports, but right now I am watching Crowd Goes Wild, and this segment they are doing called "Pardon the Contradiction" has got to be the worst thing I've seen on a sports channel since NASCAR. Essentially two people are given topics back and forth and for 30 seconds they have to argue one side of a topic, then once a bell rings, they have to argue the opposite side of that point. It's horrible. It's just one person rambling on for 8-10 seconds about something, anticipating a bell, then contradicting themselves with another ramble back until the bell rings, then back to their first points. I like the network so far, but they've definitely have some kinks to iron out. Oh yeah, and in a Jose Iglesias highlight, they called our White Sox catch Josh "Phlegley" Its horrible, they have athletes from other sports doing highlights. Clay Travis is the worst hire any sports show would ever make.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Aug 20, 2013 -> 10:55 AM) I'm glad you guys bumped this thread...I was actually intending on coming to post a few things this morning. So after taking several months off the workout routine in the spring (was having to take the dogs to the dog park for 1.5 hours every morning so THEY could exercise), I have been back in the saddle for about 10 weeks. Got a new home with a big yard so I don't have to take the dogs to the park anymore and can spend the time working out myself now. Anyways, my body bounces back pretty quickly so I was back in pretty decent shape after just a few weeks, but the last few weeks I have really cleaned up the diet and have seen some pretty quick results. Now I am into the strengthening/muscle building component of my routine though, and so I need to dial up my protein intake a bit. I don't eat much red meat and so that leaves me with pork, chicken, or fish. I'm getting tired of pork and chicken, and good fish (I like albacore or yellowfin tuna steaks) is pretty expensive. Additionally, I'm sort of toying with the idea of going to a vegetarian protein source because I am sort of an animal rights person, and it doesn't sit well with me that I am eating all this meat. Should I switch over to a protein powder? Or balance that with some tofu or tempeh as well? Any other suggestions? Jake, Sqwert, Reddy, your thoughts are appreciated, as well as anyone else who might have some good tips. Thanks in advance. I will hang up and listen. It wouldnt hurt to add some protein supplements to that diet if you are really dedicated to building muscle mass. If you arent eating animal proteins its definitely a good idea.

QUOTE (Brian @ Aug 16, 2013 -> 07:05 PM) Kentucky offers Tyler Ulis. Oh wait, but he's too small... Its an "offer". Ky offer alot of players, not all are commitable.
