  1. I think he knows its low pressure since they are going to suck and he knows his arm isnt going to hold up much longer.
  2. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Dec 16, 2010 -> 04:47 PM) Other then Boozer the key guys are the same especially from a defensive perspective. Boozer is a very good player but he is truly awful defensively and Brewer and Bogans sure as hell aren't going to slow LeBron down. Well technically you would have Deng or Gibson on LeBron and Brewer on Wade. Brewer is a pretty good defender. You then put Noah or Boozer on Bosh, the other helps down low. This Bulls team is better both offensively and defensively than the Bulls teams the past few years. They are MUCH more dynamic offensively.
  3. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Dec 16, 2010 -> 04:35 PM) How do you figure that Noah cancels out Bosh completely? Is it the fact that he put up 26.5 and 11.5 against the Bulls last year? Or 24 and 11 the year before that? And Miami might not be able to defend Rose or Boozer but the Bulls sure as hell can't defend Lebron or Wade. Lebron with a much worse supporting cast destroyed this Bulls team last year. Destroyed might not even be a strong enough word. And adding Boozer's awful help D sure as hell isn't going to help stop Lebron from driving. Brewer is average defensively, Korver awful, Bogans average. None of those guys is going to be able to do a damn thing to stop Wade or Lebron. And if you put Noah on Bosh then the paint is wide open for those guys and your defense gets shredded. This Bulls team? The team that is almost all new players?
  4. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Dec 16, 2010 -> 04:35 PM) Rock, can you confirm Sox really had a 3+ million offer to Wood? 3.5, saw it on mlbtr
  5. watch Hendry's dumb ass trade Marmol and make Kerry the closer.
  6. QUOTE (shipps @ Dec 16, 2010 -> 04:25 PM) Pats Philly steak sandwich Enchilada dinner from Perez on Randolph st Prime Rib from Houston's in Arizona f*** yeah, you go to Perez too?
  7. Took 2 million less than the Sox offered. I guess going to a losing team for peanuts pretty much proves he's about done.
  8. QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Dec 16, 2010 -> 03:50 PM) Pfff, when I was 10 I could eat 3 grandslam meals at Denny's and ask for dessert after. And I was the skinniest kid you ever seen. I used to rock the grande meal at Taco Bell regularly in High School.
  9. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Dec 16, 2010 -> 03:11 PM) Go listen to a sports radio show in Boston. Go read a website dedicated to their teams. Sure, they have fans who are just as level-headed as any in baseball, but they have many more over-the-top fans than most places (I assume, but certainly more than Chicago). And they are a lot meaner and far less forgiving. Over the top Red Sox fans remind me a hell of a lot of the Ohio State football fanbase. Completely irrational.
  10. Brewer is a pretty good defender though Zoom, even if the other two arent that great. The Bulls are just as hard to defend as the Heat simply because Rose is unguardable by another PG and the pick and roll with Boozer is dynamic. I like them against the Heat to be totally honest. The Celtics may pose a bigger threat.

    P90X

Ok, so because I was getting bored with P90X, I joined a gym that has alot of the same type workouts, but with changes and someone other than Tony leading them. Weeek 2 for me at this gym and feeling awesome and much more motivated than before!!
  12. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 16, 2010 -> 12:00 PM) Because depth doesn't matter in the playoffs nearly as much. This isn't college. If we play the Heat, they'll feature 3 of the 4 best players on the court. Disagree. The Bulls match up very well against the heat. They wont be able to defend Boozer and Rose whatsoever. Noah cancels out Bosh completely. I think the Bulls have a VERY good shot in the east.
  13. If the White Sox had signed him they wouldnt have mentioned any of those positive stats.
  14. He got hit pretty bad on that hand last game and you could see how much pain he was in. Just get it fixed.
  15. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 15, 2010 -> 08:40 PM) Why? Just win the division and the ballpark fills up enough to pay for this. Because they are above the number they want to be at and season ticket renewals were s*** this year. If a trade doesnt come soon I would be extremely surprised.
  16. Salary dump trade has to be coming next. I bet its soon.
  17. Diebler with 9 3's tonight. Good luck if you want to play a 2-3 zone against OSU. Finally saw Lenzelle on the court, looks like he lost quite a bit of fat on his body. DeShaun had pretty much the worst night of shooting ive ever seen.
  18. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Dec 15, 2010 -> 04:28 PM) John Clayton was on ESPN Radio 1000, says U. of Minnesota is very much in doubt now due to many issues. Possible venues: Indy, Detroit and St. Louis. It was a dumb idea in the first place. 4 feet of snow in a stadium that has been shut down for weeks. Move it to Chicago morons.
  19. Way too hard to answer, I would have a feast. Corned Beef Sandwich, side of cabbage and fries from Al's Pizza from Lou and salernos, probably Mrs T's as well Steak from Mortons Pasta from one of 20 restaurants I like in chicago Fish tacos from encinitas Entire thanksgiving turkey dinner Huge tub of wings from birdsnest on southport I could go on and on Wash it down with some alagash, shiner bock, green line, anchor steam and oberon
  20. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Dec 14, 2010 -> 11:03 AM) None of that is in fact true. 3 players were involved: Jewel Hampton (who was forced to leave the school), Adam Robinson (suspended for the bowl game, possibly for academic reasons), and DJK (who is probably going to end up behind bars). Iowa did not lie about anything or at least it wouldn't appear that way. Anything else is just a bunch of rumor mongering that was going on. If thats the case they will probably get a slap on the wrist, but how did it go from several players being involved to basically one?
  21. QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Dec 13, 2010 -> 08:09 PM) Always loved the black sock look. Looked fantastic and still does. In fact, I hate the white sock with black shoes look. Now that looks awful. I digress. The new fad nowadays looks pretty awful. The worse is the patterns on the trim of each uniform having like three different colors. It's hard to describe without a picture, but it looks ridiculously ugly. The media hated on the black socks pretty hard, its pretty much all I wore playing bball growing up. I think all of us loved the Fab Five in some way or another. The ridiculously long shorts are dumb these days though, really dumb.
  22. Illinois is never going to lock down all top prospects in state, there is simply too much competition for the players from other programs. Thats why they need to at least cast their net to other areas.
  23. QUOTE (Rex Hudler @ Dec 13, 2010 -> 11:09 PM) Sanctions for? Having 20 players involved in a drug scandal as well as probably not reporting positive drug tests.
  24. So are we to believe that Lee took less money to play for the Phillies, or that all the "leaks" in the media were planted there by his agent.
  25. Hawkeyes are f***ED. So much for that run of good football. Sanctions are going to come down.
