  1. QUOTE (Frankensteiner @ Jun 10, 2008 -> 08:39 PM) Terrible game on both ends tonight. one of ozzies worst games as the white sox manager IMO....oh well i mean we werent gonna win the rest of the games this year...i just really think ozzies/the teams decisions have cost us runs on both sides of the ball tonight that would have kept us in this game
  2. i will be rather upset if jose goes out for the 7th
  3. i hope the bullpen is up...jose is leaving ALOT of pitches up in the zone
  4. QUOTE (lostfan @ Jun 10, 2008 -> 07:28 PM) It's not the first time Ozzie's done it this year either. yeah i would have thought after vlad guerrero did the exact same thing that ozzie would have learned
  5. im honestly fuming over that decision still....its seriously inexcusable and it gave detroit all the momentum another ball that a HR in any other park
  6. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Jun 10, 2008 -> 07:22 PM) Hindsight is 20/20, but with 1st open, and a guy with 20 some AB's in the bigs next up, probably a bad call. not even probably...honestly i love ozzie....but that was a f***ing joke to not put the guy on .........jeff larrish up next and you pitch to miguel f***ing cabrera???!?!?!?!
  7. terrible managing AWFUL! he was 6 for 9 off jose going into that at bat....if im anyone in the upper office i b**** ozzie out i dont care if its unprofessional or not
  8. big out...gotta get one more...please walk miggy
  9. jose is looking bad.....lotta pitches up...not really alot of velo on the fastball
  10. greg norton with a 3 run Hr off ted lilly lol
  11. QUOTE (tommy @ Jun 10, 2008 -> 07:12 PM) Not to be pessimistic but sloppy is a great word to describe performance so far. i dont know what contreras is doing...he is only throwing the splitter with 2 strikes...and hes leaving alot of em up.....hes gettin such good run on his fastball id like to see him use that more
  12. QUOTE (SoxFan101 @ Jun 10, 2008 -> 07:10 PM) we are seemingly giving up a lot of outs..not good baseball. i dont really get this...about a week or so ago when we played the tribe, we hardly ran at all on victor martinez and had plenty of opportunities, but now we are running on pudge with a lefty on the mound?
  13. not good to show up the ump jose....even if that was a strike
  14. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 10, 2008 -> 07:01 PM) I disagree with you guys, that was a helluva tough play for AJ. still one he should make....he went for the tag before he caught the ball
  15. larrish led the NCAA in walks his soph year in college and also had 80 + walks in his first two years in the minors HAVE TO catch that AJ
  16. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 10, 2008 -> 06:42 PM) Hmph, so Detroit's still playing that Clevin kid, I vaguely remember him from last year. as long as it isnt raburn, clete thomas or mike hessman....those guys kill us
  17. its nice scoring runs with 2 outs nobody on and 2 strikes to alexei...then a walk, SB, 0-2 base hit by AJ ...nice
  18. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 10, 2008 -> 06:13 PM) Many people expect Smardaijza to give up baseball in a year or so. talk about a guy who cashed in... in 226 minor league IP he has only 114 Ks and 89 walks....... not good....add in the fact that hes already 23, and that all = non prospect oh yeah and he got a bigger contract than just about everyone ever drafted...save josh beckett mark teixeira and a handful of others
  19. gotta play well....this has all the makings of a "let down series"....detroit struggling, and us coming in hot....for some strange reason i just dont have a good feeling about this series....it would be great to win 2 of 3 heading into a "cub like" homestand of the pirates and rockies
  20. haha some of my best friends are apple lovers so by no means do i really care, but the maddox thing about apple is absolutely hilarious... http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=macs_cant btw language probably NSFW
  21. according to current and former players polled by roger mcdowell...who consistently hit the hardest line drives....and this is not subjective, there is an answer (according to joe morgan) those who watched the cubs on sunday night baseball understand
  22. line closed on dontrelle at 1.1 IP 8 ER 5 BB 3 H
  23. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Jun 9, 2008 -> 07:44 PM) I never expect a sweep of any team on the road, but a series win is a must. They really are awful, and I don't see it turning it around any time soon with that awful pitching. Aside from Procello, who looks to be at least a year and a half away, do they have any solid pitching depth in the minors? jair jurrjens and andrew mill....oh wait
