For a team with so many DH type players on their roster, the Sox never seem to have a halfway decent DH in their lineup. Explain that one to me LOL!

Oh, I agree. That's why they will have to overpay to get a top tier free agent to chose them over a more desirable team.

Hahn better acquire a couple of bona fide major league good starting pitchers this offseason.

Who else do the Sox have ready to play 1B next year? They don't even have anyone who could be a decent DH next year except for Jimenez, but they want him in LF. I'd like to see the Sox upgrade, but I doubt if they can sign both a DH and a 1B better than Abreu for next season. They have other holes to fill. He'll be back, hopefully as the primary DH if they can acquire a major league first baseman.

A quote from an old song: "You'll lose your blues laughing at life." If you're going to get so upset at a game that it causes you to start calling people names on a message board, why bother watching? Lighten up and just enjoy the the game for what it is.

The kid was clearly having issues in AAA and the sox may have brought him up before he was ready. Maybe he will work out his issues up at the major league level. Hopefully they don't ruin the kid.

Won't happen for two reasons: 1. Sox are too cheap to make a competitive offer. 2. Sox would have to overpay to get a top tier free agent to chose them over more desirable destinations.

Too bad Jimmy Piersall isn't still alive. The Sox haven't had a good coach working with their outfielders since he used to back in the day.
