  1. It is in the bottom third for hitting HRs for a reason. It's tough to hit them there. Roughly only 2/3 as many as Sox Park (yes, I still call it that)
  2. It is. Doesn't mean it's not distracting him though.
  3. To each his own, I like it when they don't score.
  4. Something else on his mind maybe? Remember how he struggled the season a person close to him (brother, cousin, friend I forget) died.
  5. It is if they don't score.
  6. This is my understanding as well albeit just what has been reported over the years. He has never been a majority owner but is the Chairmen of the Board.
  7. Sure they can. Whoever can walk without falling over plays. ?
  8. County Stadium was a blast. As college students we were Ueckers pukers sitting in right field. Good thing the team didn't know us other wise they probably wouldn't have hired me later.

Ok. I disagree that proof of the establishment lying to the world wouldn't change anything.
  10. No doubt. Houston and the Sox would never see a night game.

It's pretty simple. If they lied, they lied. Conspiracy theorists would have a field day as their accusations would be validated. If it shown that people were lying about the origin of the virus, it will sow distrust in the whole system. As others have said, I don't think the origin story will change, but if it did it will give the radicals more ammunition for their distrust.

No but it will validate their distrust.

I think he is correct. It has nothing to do with anything going forward but people who distrust the government and other entities will use it as more evidence to distrust "the system" right or wrong. It's all about perception and optics.

The answer to everything. That and 42.
  15. I know the new season tickets holders only get one this year but you will get 2 in the first round next year.
  16. We get 2 in the first round with a 20 game plan so you can plan on that next year.
  17. The only diagnosis that has been reported has been fatigue. No specific injuries have been cited. Doesn't mean there isn't one but they haven't released it.
  18. I've said since the beginning of the season that there really was no way he was going to be a starter all year without having issues. He just dint have the innings to do it. I still think the original plan was for him to only pitch half a season then Kopech would take over. However Rodon just pitched too well and they couldn't take him out. He may or may not be injured but he is definitely gassed.
  19. It has absolutely everything to do with the question I answered from another poster.
  20. Not shocking if true with how many innings he has thrown this year.
  21. The way both Jimenez and Robert have pulled up on balls that hit the,it looks like they have been told to not to take chances near the wall. DO NOT GET HURT.
  22. It's a good plan to just keep him sharp. He is so far beyond his innings from not only last year but the last 2 years. He's pitch over 100 for most of the year, he'll be fine for the extra pitches in the playoffs.
  23. Good plan with Rodon. He is way over the innings not just from last year but the last 2 years. I'm still surprised he hasn't had more issues. It is a contract year though.
  24. All depends on how that muscle feels. It's such a non-functional muscle that I don't think he really needs rest for that injury.
