  1. It does but thats a big contract for a back up QB.
  2. Ouch. I feel for you. Downside of online shopping.
  3. Chicks dig the long ball. ?
  4. Because there is a learning curve in the MLB against MLB hitters. He can learn some about control but not enough. It's not about mistakes getting crushed. It more about what pitches the MiLB hitters swing at that MLB hitters dont.
  5. He's 22, not a grown man. Think about yourself at 22 and give you 80 million dollars. How mature and responsible and impressionable would you be?
  6. As a wise man once said, "lady, I ain't no athlete, I'm a baseball player." If he hits 40 HR no one will care.
  7. Game 2 of the World Series has to be #1. #2 is a game against Milwaukee in Milwaukee had to be 1988 or 89. Both Jack McDowell and Teddy Higuera pitch 9 innings of shutout ball. I can't remember who got the hit in the 10th but Boston pinch ran, stole 2nd got to third on a bad throw by the catcher. Boston scored on a hit by Greg Walker for the Sox to take the lead and eventually win.
  8. It may change as he gets more comfortable in the league or as he ages and loses a little.
  9. I would put Dunning in the same category.
  10. It much easier to piggyback each of his starts in the MiLB than the MLB. However, it's just going to delay his learning at the MLB level. He only has 5 MLB starts so he is going to have rookie growing pains whenever he starts in the MLB this season.
  11. It the only way to learn not to. If he doesn't learn it, he will be gone. He can't learn it in the MiLB, so yes the only way to learn would be to walk 9 in a game and figure out what he is doing wrong and try to make the appropriate adjustments.
  12. This has to be done at the MLB level. MiLB hitters aren't the same as the MLB. He can get away with stuff in the MiLB that he can't in the MLB. He needs to learn to pitch to MLB hitters which can only be done in the MLB. That's why the injury was so bad for the team. He could have learned to pitch to MLB hitters in a season that really didn't matter. Now he needs to do it in a season that does matter.
  13. The question was is he healthy and to start pitching in games. The answer is yes. Now as far as being effective, its going to take but he only has 5 MLB starts. He is going to be learning at the MLB level regardless of when he hits the MLB. He knocked of the rust of just pitching when he pitched in the Fall games.

Here is the primary issue. Everything in the US costs more. Everything. Not just healthcare. If everyday living is much more expensive so will everything else. This is part of the reason I say that universal healthcare will be much more expensive here for many reasons. Whether someone thinks ,its big business, corruption, inefficiency, tax base, legal system....... the cost of living is really high here. The system has to change before anything else. You can't just separate it out.
  15. He is healthy and he has been on the same off season program as everyone else. In fact he pitched later than the MLB pitchers as he pitched in Arizona in the Fall. If it wasn't for the innings limit and service time issues, he would start the season in the MLB. Remember he is 19 months or so post surgery. Even the most conservative protocols have pitchers in games at 12.

The issues is that each provider makes different deals with different insurance companies. Currently, you need to call the insurance company to find out the deal de0nding on which plan you have. I think the only way any of this works is to improve the oversight of Medicare, fix it first then see what a Medicare for all plan looks like.

No doubt. Working for the state, providers have refuse to treat my family because they know they state takes 180 days minimum to pay. Until someone has a plan that that truly changes the system not just Medicare for all, I'm skeptical.
  18. He is right from a physical standpoint.
  19. And last year's batting champ 7th? I 5hink Robert will hit lower in the lineup for awhile. He's going to struggle early on the swing and miss, low and away.
  20. if this is true his career for the Sox and probably in general is over. Being very conservative he'll be ready by July of this year.
  21. Yes it is. The 60 meter WR is about 6.3 just set last week. So 60 yards.......that about a 5.7 for the WR.
  22. This kid has no idea how to run and he's that fast. Look at his arm motion and lean.
  23. Yes it does. You can murder the baseball and get an out but it's much more likely to be a hit than soft contact. This is why exit velocity and % line drive are important stats as well.
  24. The worst part is that this scandal is going to help the Astros hitters. If there are no warnings for hitting them the pitchers are going to be wary of pitching inside.
