  1. Jeff Dickerson, Bears reporter.
  2. It's not the ligament they described it's the labrum which is meniscal cartilage. He probably could have surgery, it just depends on the stability of the joint during testing. Odds are he would not need surgery since it's his non-throwing shoulder.
  3. Probably just to keep him learning the flow of the game and what to look for with different defenses. He'll be there with earpiece in ear. Rehab is easy, rest.
  4. Yep. It's all about getting hit. He needs the arm for snaps, especially with the amount of shotgun they use. As long as his arm stays below shoulder height, it isn't much of an issue.
  5. It's his non-throwing shoulder so it probably won't be more than 4 weeks. Just depends on the severity of the labral tear.

I've worked at a couple of chronic pain clinics. If you're to the point of surgery, I feel for you. I hope you've tried the pain clinic route. We were able to help the vast majority of people. Surgery is always the last resort. Stick with it.
  7. Patterson was successful with this type of play in New England. This is why the Bears try it. For whatever reason this line just isn't run blocking well.
  8. Which is my point that they cant sustain it because the line won't give them the opportunity. There is no way they could count on it for 2 drives. Regardless of how good the RB is, he cant sustain it without help from the line.
  9. I agree with him. The line just isn't giving him much to work with.
  10. I dont think this line can run block well enough to do this.
  11. If they're gassed after one 3 and out the coaches aren't working them hard enough. More likely they're gassed because of the drives they are allowingl
  12. The offensive line has been awful at run blocking all year. There aren't opening anything inside.
  13. I was just talking about all of you acting like meatheads from 670 with an axe to grind with the over reaction. He's been fine tonight.
  14. Yes they are. The defense just allowed a TD on a 97 yard drive to the Redskins. they must be the worst defense in the league. A good defensive wouldnt allow that to Case Keenum.

Not as much as the people currently on one of their trips out of the country.
  16. I dont know. I think his fastball is too straight and would benefit from less spin. Keeping the velocity and decreasing the spin would be the trick.
  17. That was a joke to Jack. He and I had a long discussion about why I thought Kimbrel would be an awful signing for the Cubs based on the performance at the end of last year and how long he sat out this year.
  18. He will be at best #4 on the staff. They have Giolito, Cease, Kopech at least ahead of him, depending on if they sign a starter.
  19. Giolito credited his change more to the mental aspect of living from pitch to pitch. He was able to maintain his focus thus maintain the mechanics throughout the game much more effectively.
  20. People who live in the past.........
  21. I believe someone explicitly said that the Cubs would regret signing Kimbrel. ?
  22. More likely soreness after squats or cleans. Hopefully, not a meniscal issue.
  23. Yep. Next year the process starts to change as they should have a winning team if the plan goes well. If they are competing for a playoff spot at the end of July, he could come up.

Most programs allow this. Some restrict courses like anatomy to a 4 year university. If you're serious about it go to www.ptcas.org. It's where the application is completed through an external service. It will list all of the programs and the specifics about the prereqs for individual schools.
  25. The twins pitcher was suspended for a masking agent that is a diuretic as well. But the others this year were all for various things like steroids and growth hormone derivatives. They can try the masking agents but it doesnt really make a difference be cause of the testing. They find the abnormal levels then test for the substance. Sometimes the only thing they find is a masking agent. In the Olympic setting you'll see some of the suspensions listed as abnormal hormone levels. Once they find the abnormal then they see if they can find a substance. They can't always pinpoint it but they dont need to with this system. I'm not saying its impossible just very difficult especially at the levels to produce huge gains. There are no more Bonds with an increased head size or Ben Johnson with yellow eyes.
