6/11 Games
The only time I've seen this is when the runner rounded the base, went too far and the outfielder threw the ball to first and they got him coming back to the bag.

2019 MLB Draft and Signing Tracker
Too true so he may as well enjoy being paid to play baseball for a little bit.

Pure speculation but you have to wonder if the theoretically better pitchers in AA throw more strikes thus it plays into his "70 hit tool."

2019 MLB Draft and Signing Tracker
Yeah, but you're playing baseball NOT working with people who are employees at Taco Bell. At least the cheap White Sox gave all their guys 10k.

Despaigne called up; Delmonico released; Fry to IL
I like it. Both have a number of names that come and go and won't last long.

White Sox vs Nationals 7:10 CT Despaigne vs Anibal Sanchez
the answer to the ultimate question of life the universe and everything +1?

White Sox vs Nationals 7:10 CT Despaigne vs Anibal Sanchez
much better than an oblique. an oblique injury in a hitter is devastating because of the rotation. it wouldn't be day to day with an oblique strain

White Sox vs Nationals 7:10 CT Despaigne vs Anibal Sanchez
upper back is a whole lot better than lower back for a hitter. it's more related to the shoulder than the back. probably mid trap or rhomboid. there is no rotation in the upper back

is in his back or in the front? it hard to mix up a back muscle and an oblique.

Wasn't Hamilton's from a car accident?

Anderson sees a lot fewer pitches per at bat than Garcia, actually fewer than most everyone on the team.

Rumor: Cease will be called up "very soon"
guessing on his innings limit, he probably had about 100 left l. that takes him to 152 after 124 last year. so they need to decide the best use if those innings. Tue Sox have 74 games after the all star break. that's roughly 15 starts each for a staff of 5. it will just depend in if they want to keep him down and keep the innings low. Or if they bring him up and shut him down early because I dont think they want to limit him to 4 innings or start at the mlb level.

Covey to IL
That's why they call it the practice of medicine. while we are getting better and always making advances, no one is ever going to be right all the time. if those are the only ones you can come up with in your years of following the Sox, it's a good record. there will always be players who complain and rightfully so. However, the Sox entire medical staff has always have had a good results. You are correct that everything can reviewed and examined. It never hurts. Just remember to review the entire group not just an individual that is in all actuality pretty far down the line.

I think his nickname should be changed to Nelly

White Sox @ Royals 1:15 pm CST Lopez vs Sparkman
It seems that it's much more difficult to get a strike called with the curveball. Umps seem to give up on it more.

I wish people would actually be informed before they personally insult others. I'm biased being in the field and knowing these guys but seriously. The primary job of the people you are insulting to to work with them AFTER injuries happen. They work with the strength and conditioning group to help prevent injuries However, they can't prevent them. They may be having issues trying to rehab them as well but if that's the case do your research and put the physicians in there as well as the athletic trainers follow their orders as well.

White Sox @ Royals 1:15pm CST. Giolito vs Keller
Giolito said the mechanical changes were minimal compared to the mental approach changes. You do know his high school coach is now a professional pitching coach. There was no mechanical flaw to detect. They just went back more to what he did in high school as opposed to what the nationals changed, which in theory should have been better for him but he could never get comfortable with them.

White Sox @ Royals 1:15pm CST. Giolito vs Keller
You obviously didnt hear giolito give credit to cooper and hasler for his improved mental approach which he said is 90% of the improvement between last year and this year.

Dallas Keuchel signs one year deal with Braves
It is. Just my opinion.

Dallas Keuchel signs one year deal with Braves
That would be a good one. The issue would be if he would sign knowing the Sox have a guy they want there in a year or two.

Dallas Keuchel signs one year deal with Braves
Good list. I think they need to look at Cole, Bumgarner and Ozuna. Although all are about 30 and they will regret the end of the contracts.

Dallas Keuchel signs one year deal with Braves
I would agree. The issue will be can they find what they need. LF: Jimenez CF: Robert soon RF: ? 3B: Moncada SS: Anderson 2B: Madrigal soon 1B: Abreu? C McCann/Collins SP: Giolito, Cease, Kopech, To me it looks like an OF, possibly 1B and a starting pitcher are the options for a big FA. There could be smaller ones in the BP but I'm not a big fan of spending big money on a BP as they really vary from year to year.

Dallas Keuchel signs one year deal with Braves
Never said it was a lot of money. I was curious if you thought that agreed with your comment about them doing the rebuild on the cheap.
