It's not crazy. You are looking at very few of the players coming through the system. If those 3 players you mentioned are the only ones, sure. But add Collins, Robert, Rutherford, Hansen, Madrgal, Burdi, Basaabe, Dunning am9 g others and they have a system that is capable of sustained production.

You continue to ignore the 3rd option that the players desire to play for a single above ALL other teams not just the White Sox overwhelmed all other factors.

They are trying something new. They did a total tear down and rebuild to attempt to have a farm system deep enough to have sustained success.

In that case, I agree with you. I like the honesty. I know others are saying that the honesty hurts them because it raised expectations. I however, do like the honesty. Fans got on KW in the past about fan attendance determining their ability to get mid season players. All he was saying was that they knew all the revenues going into 5he season except the variable of attendance, thus attendance determined the extra income. Honesty really isn't the best policy with Sox fans as they will turn it against them. This is why KW stopped doing radio interviews.

This is the reason the White Sox never wanted to do a true, complete rebuild. Not to pick on you individually but I think this is the sentiment of most Sox fans and the fanbase will not tolerate a true rebuild. The cubs had 4 years of losing 90+ games, the Astros had 3 straight 100 loss seasons. The Sox fan base won't tolerate that.
