  1. Not to mention they'll need a physical for the insurance on a contract of that size. It will probably be for about half the contract or so.
  2. I am currently in Washington DC and have not seen Machado nor Harper.
  3. Heyman must be lying because we all know the players always go for the most money.
  4. I remember watching hi. in spring training in Dunedin before his rookie year. Total beast.
  5. We agree on this one. The Sox should not be outbid by the Pirates.
  6. NASCAR! (had to bring it back for this one)
  7. Your argument isn't showing to be true. Obviously, the sox have offered enough that the advantages the others may have aren't that great.

Agreed. Boston is also easy to get around on the "tube." Driving is hell in Boston. No straight roads and they just blow around curves and hope the others stop. The train is easy from the brewery area to Fenway and you get to see a great deal of the neighborhoods and university right on the line.
  16. Keep dreaming. You know they will. Look at this board after 2 years of a rebuild, which most of them wanted for years.
  17. Used to play sax in the E street band. His nephew does now.
  18. Pete Rose falls in this category as well. Anyone who bet on games he played and managed in doesn't belong in the HOF. He changed games for monetary benefits, not always his own.
  19. I really don't remember it much. I was born there when my father was a DI in the early days of Vietnam. We moved when his draft time was up.
  20. Armored? You spend anytime at the place of my birth, Fort Knox?
  21. You mean not try to throw the pitch with the most velocity but the ones with more movement? Right up Coopers wheel house
  22. Egos, a$$, pompous, jerk. They cover many.

  24. Because they aren't happy with the ifferscand are waiting for one of the GMs to blink.
