  1. Take someone like Andre Reed who had 88 td in his career. Hester has 26. Sterling Sharpe had 65 and he was never even nominated for the HOF. I don't how you put Hester in.
  2. Aaron Rodgers is 1st player in NFL history w/400+ pass yds, 4 pass TDs + 2 rush TDs in same game
  3. It's pretty bad when the guy who comes off most sane is Gingrich. The guy who thinks we are being taken over by a gay secular fascism.
  4. There is so much bad with these two contracts.
  5. Yankees over Tigers in 4 Rays over Rangers in 5 Phillies over Cardinals in 3 Brewers over Dbacks in 4 Rays over Yankees in 7 Brewers over Phillies in 7 Brewers over Rays in 7

  8. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 28, 2011 -> 11:19 AM) I hope not, because he is a Cubs fan.
  9. QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Sep 28, 2011 -> 10:42 AM) My wife hiked down to Phantom Ranch this summer. She did a ton of research and carried 13 lbs. of water, electrolytes, carby snacks, etc. with her. She encountered several people who had no idea where or if water was available on the trail and people who intended to hike down and back up in the same day. This was in late July when temperatures at the bottom of the canyon were well over 100 degrees. That's awesome. Did she stay at the Phantom Ranch overnight?
  10. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Sep 28, 2011 -> 09:38 AM) Just want to interject this... Do NOT take the Bright Angel trail lightly. More people need rescue from that trail than any other in the country. This is for two reasons. One, the Grand Canyon attracts all manner of people not really in shape for a serious hike. And two, unlike a mountain trail, a deep canyon trail goes down first and then up... this is bad because it's easy going down (except for the knee pain), so people just keep going and going, then they have to hike back up. That is when they realize they are in over their head (either due to not being in shape, not leaving enough time, not having food and water, etc.). It's a great trail, but be prepared for it. Yeah, they have lot's of warnings about how rough it is. A marathon runner died a few years back because she didn't prepare for it. It would be awesome to hike. They say you should give yourself two days to do it. I'm thinking about going back in a couple years to do it.
  11. If you get a chance in life, go to the Grand Canyon. It's just so incredible.
  12. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 26, 2011 -> 04:12 PM) I dont think anyone has said the refs cost the Bears the game. The question has been did the refs affect the score and affect bets, and it isnt just this thread that I am reading it The Packers were the better team yesterday no doubt. The Bears couldnt get out of their own way, and even when they did, they usually did something stupid to give the ball back. I haven't read this stuff anywhere else. The punt at the end of the game is the only thing being talked about and everyone is noting how crazy it was. The hold was pretty obivious. Jarret Bush was clearly held before Knox even catches the ball.
  13. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 26, 2011 -> 01:39 PM) There was also a PI on Knox late in the game too. It was pretty obvious that the refs werent going to let the Bears come back in that game, at least not close enough so they wouldnt cover. Super sketchy. Yes, the ref's were totally cheating. It had nothing to do with Cutler throwing multiple pics or The Bears forgeting to cover Finley the whole game.
  14. If Buffalo let Jason Campbell throw for 323 yards and complete almost 70% of his passes. I expect Brady to throw for about 400 or so. I'm guessing Dan Marino can say goodbye to that 5,084 single season record.
  15. One of my favorite players Nick Collins is out for the year with a pretty serious neck injury. Not good.
  16. Didn't they ever see the movie Event Horizon. This is a bad idea!
  17. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 14, 2011 -> 10:04 AM) I vote for this guy. What's the first amendment? HA, you don't even know!
  18. Not my problem. She should get a job. If not have fun on streets.
