  1. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ May 24, 2016 -> 12:38 PM) http://espn.go.com/blog/buster-olney/insider/post?id=12928 Beltran should be an option for the White Sox. Are we one of Olney's teams? I dont have insider.
  2. Some on twitter are speculating this means either Ishikawa is released, or maybe someone like Hayes/Davidson is promoted
  3. Delmonico to AAA per his twitter
  4. Promoted to AAA according to his twitter
  5. Sands and Saladino in (Garcia, Rollins sit) https://twitter.com/whitesox/status/734036312580296704
  6. Scot Gregor ‏@scotgregor 56s56 seconds ago Bizarre scene as #WhiteSox lose to Royals 4-1. After taking called third to end it, Eaton goes after Wendelstedt, restrained by Ventura.

  8. ABREU IS IN THE TWO HOLE TONIGHT!!!!!!!!! https://twitter.com/whitesox/status/733738256630702080 People forget: we did do this last year. Robin is not as stubborn as some in MLB, though at times it doesnt seem that way.
  9. Kyle Long apologizes to White Sox http://www.chicagobears.com/multimedia/vid...c3-9e5b8b57345b
  10. Gotta admit here, i feel good for Willie Harris based on our history w/ him
  11. The Be Careful What You Wish For department: we started 23-10, and at .249/.324/.394 and wanted more offense Now we've had a stretch of .272/.343/.433 and yet have gone 1-5
  12. The traditional lineup is back tonight, w/ Navarro. Frazier in. https://twitter.com/whitesox/status/733024488137326592
  13. Sam PanayotovichVerified account ‏@spshoot #WhiteSox GM Rick Hahn: "We're prepared to make a big move today. ... We're having dialogue right now hoping that something comes together."
  14. No ToddFather tonight? I want my money back. 6/9/15 I leave the game early (Rodon v. Keuchel) and I miss Correa's first career HR. Without planning it at all, I have just now realized I again am seeing Sox v. Stros, and Again it's Rodon v. Keuchel. So if history repeats, I will leave early will miss Colin Moran's first MLB HR. Side note: What a difference in catcher philosophy. The Sox this year are making the catcher decision an offensive-minded choice from night to night.
  15. 'yes we have the capability of being interested, much like the 29 other teams'
  16. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ May 13, 2016 -> 06:19 PM) Was Melky walking to first? Balls that hit the mound sometimes fool us as viewers. It looks like the runner is going slow, but really it was hit hard, and all we saw was some dribbling after it hit the mound
  17. Scott Merkin ‏@scottmerkin 18s18 seconds ago Bronx, NY Ventura said Omar Narvaez is the next catcher up if a catcher is needed behind Navarro and Avila
  18. it could be some thing in who he is where he should chase some non-perfect pitched balls. he's more patient right now but is that 100% a good thing for a guy like this? He has Frazier behind him right now, and it seems like it could be a conscious decision to take pitches & make use of that fact.
  19. Jabari Blash is very available right now if you want to replace Sands with someone else Sandsian (but more power) http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playe...amp;position=OF
  20. Also his out-of-zone contact is worse than last year, but a little better than Year 1 Can be inferred from some of the above, but his "Hard%" is at an all time low.
  21. Princess Dye posted a topic in Pale Hose Talk
from Abreu's plate discipline tab in fangraphs (and other notes): -His swings at out of zone pitching are way down. His swinging-strike % is lower than either of his other two years. (he is seeing his usual/career normal amount of in-zone pitches) -Overall contact is higher than it's been in either of his previous two years, as is the case for his in-zone contact. -Compared to the rest of his career, line drive % and ground ball % are both lower than ever. More flyballs. He's more judicious than ever this year. Striking out less than ever, but he's hitting it less hard and when it lands, it's in a glove.
  22. a MUST listen https://soundcloud.com/christannehill/dr-ke...harrelson-51216 NSFW if you dont want heavy panting sounds
  23. https://twitter.com/redsoxstats/status/731124380248379398 Red Sox Stats ‏@redsoxstats NL baseball ops guy to me: "From what I've heard the White Sox are more than obsessed with Swihart. Tough to find a match there though."
