What if Crede had battled the count to 3-2, and after a few fouls, he got a perfect pitch and gone yard.. What would the crowd have been like? A walkoff homer in Game 1. CAn't even imagine!!

whitesoxmanager - Were you at the game last night or just watching it on tv? Was the Fenway crowd for game 3 to be blamed for the Red Sawx loss? They were way quieter than US Cellular last night. I remember commenting to my brother "that place [Fenway] is a freakin morgue".

How many pro athletes step up their game and completely dominate when they're sick?! I'm a little worried about Washburn tonight. He needs to throw a couple wild pitches and get down in the count, the way Clement pitched. If he's on his game, it won't be good! Before the series started, I told a friend of mine I wouldn't be surprised if we lost 3 in a row.. after winning 8 in a row.. and then after losing 3 in a row, we'll go on another 8 game winning streak, enough to win the World Series! That's typically how things have been going in 2005.

When the games were on ESPN, you could hear the music and the PA announcer in the background. Last night, you couldn't even hear that, sometimes you could barely hear it, but it was muffled. On ESPN, you could hear everything, including how loud the crowd really was. Bottom line: FOX SUCKS!

It's hard to get loud and into the game when your team is losing and you have that depressing feeling. You should've seen me at home. I had my head buried in my hands and I was dead quiet the whole game. Everyone at the game probably had the same feeling I had, and knowing that you spent a fortune to see it unfold live, they probably felt worse. If Paulie had gotten a hit in the 8th, tieing the game, or if Crede had gotten a hit in the 9th, the place would've erupted like we've never seen the Cell erupt!

Breaking news on CNN: a sizeable power outage in L.A. right now. That's good news for them, they might not get to see their Angels get a serious ASS WHOOPIN!!!

I've never seen that before at any other stadium. I don't like the look of cameras taking up the first row.. do you guys think they'll be there all through the playoffs? I wanna be able to see fans in the first row going nuts jumping up and down just like the rest of the 40,000. The crowd yesterday was out of control; I can't imagine how loud and electric it was in person.

1 more hour to go! I have to say I'm kind of worried about this game. But if our team plays loose like they did in Cleveland, we should take this one. If we play tight, anything can happen. Thank God the wait's almost over. I've never taken so many bathroom breaks in my life.. every freakin 30 minutes.. embarrassing!

Great job tonight guys

...after the Hurricane Coverage, was "Sox Fanticipation". It started out nice, showing the crowd into the game, and showing the fans tailgating and so on. Then they interviewed a Twins fan in her seat obviously before the game, or during the first inning, and she says "I'm very surprised how few fans there are here; there's no one here". And the camera showed all the empty seats around her. It was obviously before the sellout crowed filed in, but WGN of course failed to mention anything about that. I was really disappointed in this piece...WGN should know better.

I haven't been able to sleep at night because the thought of Cleveland passing the Sox makes me ill. And when I wake up in the middle of the night, the first thought that pops in my head is "1 1/2 games up", and I feel like throwing up. Last night I couldn't sleep, so a thought popped into my head to ask an online psychic what'll happen in the next 10 games. I don't believe in psychics, but I had nothing better to do since I couldn't fall asleep. I went to google, and typed in "ask a pyschic a question".. you're not gonna believe what the 2nd result says! It says "Cleveland.com". Go ahead and try it if you don't believe me.

Can anyone else access the ticketmaster page to buy tickets for tonight? When I click on the "T", a page opens that says "Oops we can't open ...". I know it's not sold out; I just wanted to see where you can still get tickets. Maybe ticketmaster is to blame for not selling out all the seats. I'm just glad I have my tickets for tonight.. I'll be there cheering as loud as I can!

Wait, I thought it was Aaron Rowand who hit the walk-off homerun. Just kidding.. but did you guys see the Indians' gameday recap? Recap It goes on to say "and the Tribe went on to lose to the first-place White Sox, 7-6, in 10 innings on Aaron Rowand's walk-off home run." Back to the topic, I couldn't take watching the top of the 10th. I was sure the Indians were gonna score 2 or 3, and I was starting to feel sick again, so I decided to take a quick shower and watch the bottom of the 10th. When I turned the tv on again, it was a commercial saying "stay tuned for the post-game show", and then it showed the Cell emptying out. For the first second, it looked like everyone was walking out bummed, I couldn't believe it, then they immediately showed the replay of Crede's walk-off homer. I took the biggest sigh of relief. I've never felt so good in my life. I was glad I didn't see it, because I'm convinced they would've lost if I had kept watching.

I'm in (I wouldn't be able to concentrate on anything else if it was gametime and I wasn't watching the Sox), but I don't have a good feeling about these next 2 weeks. I'd be surprised.. and ecstatic.. if they make the postseason. But I'm afraid they're not.
