So years ago, when I was still a youth, I started a fire someone on the sox .com website. I think it was RV. Firerobinventura.com. I pointed the site to steer traffic to Soxtalk thinking sure why not they won't mind the traffic. I was quickly told in so many words to shut that crap down, at least the link here. I took it a little personal at the time but now I just realize it's their site, they can do whatever they want. That extends to the mods. Baldwin is a lot easier to like when he's playing solid defense that's for sure. Maybe just park him in LF next year f*** it Beni can rot.

One of my main takeaways from the good seats in Seattle this year is that baldwin is built like an NFL running back and Mead is built like an Italian midfielder. No knock on mead he's obviously a pro, but physically baldwin has longer levers and way more power in his lower half. Whoever the scout was that recommended baldwin 12th round did a great job.

It's 50/50 if we hold this lead.

Tauchman has a really pretty swing. Being lefty helps of course but he's short and quick. Easy to see why he can hit for a high average in today's game. I'm surprised he hasn't had more chances in his career to start.

In hindsight getting him off the damn roster and clogging up 1st base / DH was a turning point this season. Allowed the youngsters to emerge.
