  1. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Aug 22, 2017 -> 07:47 PM) Engel really isn't a MLB player unless he makes drastic, and I mean really drastic, strides at the plate. I don't get why people are penciling into the starting outfield next year over guys like Leury, Willy (who have actually shown flashes of being good MLB hitters), Cordell, etc. His defense is great but that means nothing if your OPS is in the .500s bingo.
  2. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Aug 22, 2017 -> 07:31 PM) Moncada's speed got us a run pretty much.
  3. Now that is the Yoan Moncada experience. Wow.
  4. We need some good framing catchers ASAP. Catch the f***ing ball.
  5. Getting a little frustrating watchign Moncada. Swung right under that meatball.
  6. Come on pen, don't blow this, I want to see the Twinkies suffer.
  7. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Aug 21, 2017 -> 06:33 PM) Well he was 1 short. Still a great outing from him. Another great outing! He's starting to look like the ace we hoped we'd see when he was drafted. Still very young.
  8. Yolmer going on a hot streak and getting his OPS back above 700 before the end of the year would be nice.
  9. QUOTE (Lillian @ Aug 21, 2017 -> 05:31 PM) I'm watching MLB's "Gameday," rather than the live video. What is this 95 mph curveball that the Twins pitcher is throwing? looks like a cutter.
  10. Come on Anderson. Total brain fart costs what was probably an out.
  11. Yolmer is a god damn magic man with the glove. It's why I've always been so high on him. If he COULD JUST HIT 260/330/390 HE'S A SOLID STARTER. But, I don't think he can. Oh well, utility guy.
  12. Engel doesn't look like a MLB hitter. That's too bad.
  13. 19 HR against in 73 IP, you gotta be bleeping me!
  14. TA is not nearly as fast as advertised.
  15. Yea I just watched the replay on that TA play, there is no f***ing way he's at fault there. If that ball goes into LF and he's holding up he'd be (rightly) killed for not scoring with two outs.
  16. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 18, 2017 -> 09:02 PM) Ball was in front of him. Needs to know where the fielders are and that Leury is going to beat that out. This team's base running continues to get worse. That's just unrealistic. There is no way you can process all that in the split second after contact. He ran hard on contact with 2 outs, that's what you do.
