  1. what is there to work on? he's not a prospect or a MLB caliber pitcher with this stuff. Might as well shut him down and evaluate him if this is what he's working with.
  2. No command, no velocity. WTF dude. He looks like James fucking Shields.
  3. Blah. The only games worth even bothering with are the Reylo starts. Tough times for nightly watchers.
  4. I'm half expecting them to announce he's having surgery soon. He looks awful.
  5. More of the same from Gio to start. Yikes. 90mph.
  6. Don't like messing with Yoan's head like this. Just keep him leadoff it's a throwaway year. Nice to see Thompson I guess, although Adam Engel can't hit anybody, righty or lefty. Why not just play Delmonico in LF, he's OK against LHP. I'm about done with Ricky after this year I think.
  7. Sounds good. I'd like to see a black background with white text theme. In some cases, especially like night reading, it's a lot less eye strain.
  8. Feel sick reading this. Hopefully he can pull out of this without too many complications.
  9. I'm impressed with how the site looked on my 4" iPhone SE, 6" Fire Tablet. That said, there's way too much wasted space on larger screens and resolutions. I had to crank up the font on my 1440p 27" screen as well as on a regular old 1080p 24" screen in order to get the scaling a bit easier on the eyes. Sorry for all the name dropping just wanted to be specific about what I found good and bad on various devices I use.
  10. After the game got well out of the hand, the Astros announcers were having a good natured laugh and reminiscing at how bleak things looked for them the year they won like 55 games and how the Sox are in that stage as well. The Astros crew is worth listening to they were excellent all around last night. They didn't make any jokes until around the 6th inning when whathisname beefy catcher for them got on base and he had a 50% OBP and the color guy goes "50% of the time he gets on base every time" and I honestly laughed pretty hard. Jason and Stone take notes: less is more at times.
  11. I just want to see a competitive, well played game. That's all I fucking ask.
  12. lmao who else heard that woman cry "we want a pitcher not a belly itcher", oh man.
  13. I don't mind it. at least TA got on.
  14. verlander doesn't even have his good stuff tonight, I mean even an aged JV is a great pitcher but he was topping out at 95 and his command has not been pinpoint, to say the least.
  15. absolutely awful swing on that curveball.
  16. rare moment of exceeding expectations.
  17. hard to be competitive with this rotation. just move on. I'd honestly rather see Dylan Covey.
  18. def not laziness, just a mental mistake from a guy new to big league speed at times.
  19. thank god he has the best changeup he's shown all year.
  20. 'stros broadcast crew is really good.
  21. why does it feel like james shields has pitched in every other game this year?
