The way he's hitting a hole in his bat makes sense.

Shit AB I miss Eloy.

Some good pitches to him, come on Mercedes.

Didn't the throw go into the dugout? Why was yoan not given 2nd?

Good hustle yoan!

Billy!

Madrigal just looks shaky too often on routine plays.

Jesus Christ where was he playing him?

So many cheap HR against Sox this year.

Collins overmatched

Good defense by Orioles so far.

Lol Jason off the end of the bat

Maybe he can not make an out 50% of the time instead of only 41%...

What was he looking for there? Yikes.

Wow that guy has range.

Lol they should at least try to explain wRC+

I think think he found his release point.

Kelenic is a mariner no doubt.

Those are straight fire, they nailed it. And I think Giolito enjoys being a Sox. Maybe they can make it happen with him on a slight discount.

Well clearly we disagree here on the crux of it but the details are important and it wasn't an arm injury. It was a "my upper back and neck feels stiff" injury. He rested it for a week and a half and it healed. Go figure. Just another dad bod trying to be athletic in his mid 30s.

A lesser team would have gone on to a prolonged slump after the Yankees doldrums. But a lesser team as you mentioned doesn't have this much great SP. There are holes in the lineup on any given day but for the most part the guys compliment each other well and when you have a couple guys like Moncada and Grandal in the lineup they are just going to get on base enough to string some innings together via a walk and a blast, walk and a whatever -- the team won't get shutout or shut down below 3 runs often and with this pitching that's a winning formula. That said, to compete for a World Series title this team absolutely needs Robert and Eloy healthy. I think every team would.

Yea that's what I was about to post. Lynn is a well respected vet, a guy that is a leader and surely knows his body. The Sox do a good job keeping players on the field for the most part. They've earned the benefit of the doubt here and so has Lynn and frankly La Russa. This is the sort of thing you hired him for. He does do out of the box stuff once and awhile and personally I think it's because he's a very good man manager, all his other foibles aside.

Eh, play to win each game on that day and worry about the next day the next day. Good advice in sports and life I'd say.

hopefully he can push for a AA promotion this year. Intriguing prospect again now that he's finally hitting a bit.
