  1. He just got away with one and grandal called it again. Dumb
  2. Cease impressive so far.
  3. You have got to be kidding me.
  4. Enough of this cancer commercial!
  5. It was a routine play he got a horrible jump on.
  6. I don't understand why MLB.tv doesn't let me fullscreen during commercials. Come on I'm ready to go lay down with the tablet.
  7. White Sox enter today 5th in team WAR (2.4) and 3rd in batting WAR (2.1). If the SP could just be mediocre to bad and not horrible this team will make the playoffs.
  8. So you went from calling him Tony Gwynn to a bust in the span of 10 PA @Jack Parkman that sounds about right.
  9. This is the biggest start of Cease's young career imo.
  10. I picked Moncada just because I think whereas Robert might have an 8 WAR year in him, he probably has a couple 2.5 WAR years in him as well. Moncada I just feel is going to put up 6 WAR or so until age 31 or so. His eye is too consistent. That said, I feel like I'm shorting AAPL here wrt to Robert. I already lost a bunch of money last week doing that. Inverse myself it's probably Robert with the best career, ugh.
  11. Yup, if there was ever a season to ride some hot hands, it's this one. Engel isn't tired! Leury might be a bit but he's coming off a great performance and playing with confidence. Renteria just doesn't know how to fill out a lineup card.
  12. Renteria is holding this club back.
  13. It's def a fine line between self confidence and arrogance. Sometimes you want a little arrogance in your athletes but right now Madrigal hasn't shown he's earned that leeway, not from his coaches, not from his team and not from the fans. He's def pressing. You can tell he's going up there at the dish over eager to make something happen instead of letting something happen. That said, one thing he's done well with his not taking his ABs into the field. His defense has been as advertised. I'd hope Renteria can give him some confidence heading into today. Hopefully he sat him down last night and reminded him to look at the lineup around him and make him realize he just needs to be a cog in the bigger wheel right now. There's plenty of juice in the lineup to hide a glove first rookie and Nick should realize that.
  14. even one is too many.
  15. cool site, thanks for the links.
  16. Eloy has mastered the 1st person contraction as well as the hanging breaking ball:
  17. the amount of talent in this kid is ridiculous. score one for KW honestly he made up for a bunch of shit getting JR to spend the money on this kid.
  18. I guess Keith law hasn't been at any Sox games this year.
  19. this team has some absurd young talents.
  20. moncada the vacuum.
  21. throw strikes kid.
  22. he played it like a 10 year vet.
