Curbelo's swing is a dead ringer for Kyle Lewis. Long levers. Obviously swing and miss issues come with that, but also big power.

Vlad Jr isn't going to put up 11 fWAR, if he does, well, it will be the greatest non Trout season since Bonds I'd imagine. Moncada is off to a nice sustainable 6 fWAR pace. I think he can finish around 280/380/500 for the year with good defense for the 5-6 fWAR. He obviously needs to stay healthy.

A near 50% OBP for Moncada over three weeks of games that is winning baseball.

Makeup is one thing but not having a position hurt him more. The DH spot is only one of what 16 in the world?

I like his fat jowls that hang a good 4 inches below the padding on his mask.

Lol is this a meme right now? My buddy said they were asking it at the Detroit bullpen in Seattle last week.

Yes, and for the most part Chicago has taken advantage of extra outs and sloppy play while largely avoiding it themselves.

So how bout them 2021 first place White Sox!

Nice bounce back series so far. Moncada is awesome.

He gawn!

Fuck not liking this

Jesus Christ this bullpen!

Great play Adam!

Then he doesn't pick that come on jose

Horrible AB

Moncada is so good.

Wow!

God damnit

Hit and run here?

Good AB leury!

Is that gios slider? Looks good.

Damn he just missed it.

lol, see, that's the problem!

Did they have to be protected, I'd imagine so, it's 5 years after being drafted / into the system no?

I'm guessing that part of it is not wanting to add Rutherford or Sheets to the 40 man -- for trade considerations it's much better if they are not. edit: NM, both guys are already on the 40 man.
