Stay hot young man.

7 HRS now for Curbelo.

I think a promotion is in order in the near future. 25 years old.

He's 23, not 25

Nice 3 hit game for Ramos, and this was Bilous AA debut right? Nice start for him.

Dirty Dedes with another 2 hits, ho hum.

Cool to see James Beard go deep, super interesting prospect with freak speed

My mistake. Even better.

How is his defense?...I would guess his 80 grade speed makes up for any bad jumps, etc.

Burger looking real good so far. Got the batting avg. up now to go along with the high SLG. and OPS, 17 hits ,6 doubles 6 HR's

Burger has been doing a lot better than I would have thought

Kanny pitching staff got lit up.  Wind must have been blowing out.

Random thoughts/things I noticed

-Sheets had his fourth error of the season in LF last night. That is not good

-Curbelo's swing looks great...

-Nik Turley has been one of the only guys in Charlotte throwing well. I wonder how soon he replaces mop-up duty Crochet.

-Bilous has always had decent stuff and got the strikeouts, but if he keeps limiting the walks he could be interesting.

Curbelo's swing is a dead ringer for Kyle Lewis. Long levers. Obviously swing and miss issues come with that, but also big power.

Rough night for Thompson.

His numbers are going to look like crap all year now just because of this game, no matter if he pitches well or not.

He only has 14 innings on the year. 1-2 good outings can even it all out.

Also who cares about his season numbers, if he has a hot month with high ks and good scouting reports nobody will care that he had a bad game in low-a.

Not to mention that inconsistency is a part of being a very young minor leaguer at a higher level.

Exactly. Been seein this long enough with minor leaguers. A guy might have a 5 ERA overall but had a month + of dominating (basically "figured it out") and got promoted. Scouts/management knows and sees that.
