    10 days!

I can handle my own just fine. I thank you for your quasi-concern. And no, no bad experiences anywhere for me (*knock on wood*). Chicks with tattoos in general are trouble. They're...what's a PC word?..."seasoned". If you see a tat on a chick (same with a chick who smokes - they're in the same group), run for the hills. You'll be glad you did. that kind of broad generalization will get ya in trouble mate I fear not. Guess the (in general) truth hurts.
  2. Hmmm....gotta say, that's a bit disturbing. Anyway, it's "jer", not "ger". And I'm watchin the Laker/Spur game, so I don't know if I'll be doing updates from start to finish today -- but we'll see.
  3. I know exactly the one you're talking about. Runner tagging from second, Bo catches the ball DEEP in the RF corner, and Bo guns him out ON THE FLY at third. I'm as amazed today by that throw as I was the day I saw it happen. Unbelievable. I remember seeing highlights of that very play. It was RAINING, and Mr T was doing guest commentary, and he started going crazy when he saw Bo make that throw. And what about the play where Robin Ventura hit a rope to left-center field, and Bo made a full speed running catch at the wall, bounced off the wall, and gunned the ball to 1st base to double up Carlton Fisk who was on 1st and had rounded 2nd on the play. The ball 1-hopped George Brett and Fisk was tagged out for an AMAZING DP. Bo was, and still is, the f***ing man.

  5. Here's a link to today's box score... http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/boxscore?gam...ameId=230322108 Frank and Mags still hot, Kelly continues to impress, and 0-5 for Miles? :puke
  6. Not sure what was wrong. It just started working. Hope it's fixed. And yes, White may have lost his job today.
  7. Top 9 - Jimenez leads off by staring at a hook for strike 3 - Burke gets a basehit to CF....the comeback begins!!!!! - Willie Harris hits into a DP to end the game LMAO!!! Uecker just said that when he gets pulled over by the police, he bribes the officer with autographs. Sox lose this one 11-8 Stats coming soon I hope
  8. Bottom 8 Gordon in to pitch - Hanging curve belted by Young for a basehit - Sexson grounds out. Young advances to 2nd - Hammonds grounds to Burke. Young to 3rd, but there are 2 away - Someone gets out somehow. Inning over 0 runs, 1 hit, 1 left Sox down to their final AB, down by 3
  9. Top 8 - Miles flies one to LF deep, but it's caught. Uecker made me think it was outta there. - Rios goes down swinging. 2 away - Borchard bounces out to Eric Young to retire the side 1-2-3 7 1/2 complete, Sox still in trouble, down 11-8
  10. Bottom 7 Marte in to pitch Harris in at CF Paul in at C Burke in at 3rd - Keith Ginter grounds one into LF for a lead-off single - Clayton hits it deep to RF...nice running catch by Rios for out #1. Ginter scampers back to 1st - Sacrifice bunt advances the runner to 2nd, but now there are 2 out - Sanchez flies out to Harris in CF for the final out Lead-off hit leads to nothing End 7, Sox trail it by 3
  11. Yes, I have returned. And all is right again in the world!
  12. Top 7 - Crede loops one to CF, but it's caught for out #1 - Rowand chops one through the middle for a basehit. 1 on, 1 out - Olivo whiffs at an 0-2 change. 2 away - Daubach swings and misses for strike 3. Through 6 1/2, the Sox in trouble, down 11-8
  13. Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. Rick White in to pitch Daubach in at 1st D'Angelo in at SS Borchard in LF Rios in RF Crede at 3rd Rowand in CF Miles at 2b Olivo at C 5 innings, 7 runs (5 earned), 4 walks, 5 strikeouts for Colon (I think that's what I heard the PA guy say in the background) 6th inning, Milwaukee hitting, 8-7 Sox - Clayton strikes out to lead off the inning - Keishnick (sp?) LOL, goes deep...Uecker is funny...he was yelling for it to "GET UP!!!", kinda like the Hawkaroo. 8-8 tie - Sanchez lines one to LF for a long single (Borchard got to it quickly to hold him at 1st) - Young loops one that falls in LF. 1st and 3rd, 1 out - Ritchie bombs a triple to CF. Brewers up 10-8. I think I'm jinxing us. - Hammonds basehit to LF. Sexson scores, 11-8 Brew Crew I think White is losing his chances at making this team as we speak. He's already struggled...and now it's continuing. White being removed in favor of Kelly - Javier Valentin flies out to LF. 2 out - Scott Petsednick (no clue how to spell his name) k's looking. Inning over 4 runs, 5 hits, none left Through 6, Brewers lead it 11-8
  14. Well, I knew it...it's still not working. Mother f***er. I'll try to figure it out, but I don't know what more I can do.
  15. Bo Jackson is the best athlete of the past 25 years -- how could you not have been a fan? And "generational" thing? I'm only 22.
  16. Hopefully clujer takes over again cuz I gotta go soon 93%....but I have a bad feeling it's not going to work.
  17. Um, I'm not forgetting that at all. I know it all too well how Danny will look great for 5 or 6 innings, then all of a sudden the opposition will put up a 5-spot, and all of a sudden we're losing. This is what I'm saying -- a pitcher with the stuff that Wright has should NOT give up 5-run+ innings on a regular basis. And this year, hopefully he will get over that hump. And your statement of "3 good starts in a row, then 1 bad inning" is not correct. If that were true, he would have had a record better than 14-12.
  18. LOL, poor guy. My RealOne Player is 53% done downloading, so internet-willing, I will start my updates in about 15 minutes.

Indeed, it is a Veggie Tale. And yes, we do all know what that mean -- I have good taste in animation. Tattoo + chick = (there are issues)
  20. My computer is f***ing up. It's saying "MLB Plug-in Requirements -- We have detected that you do not have RealOne installed on your system. Click here to upgrade or install RealOne." I'm going to uninstall my current Real Player and download it again and see if that fixes the problem. I have dial-up, so I should have a working Player in about 2 weeks. :fyou dial-up
  21. If you want to make a $10M donation to the Sox, I'm sure JR and KW would be MORE than happy to apply those funds to the payroll and obtaining another player or 2. Just make it out to Jerry Reinsdorf.
  22. If Danny gets sent down to AAA, it'll be because he's not ready. He has not pitched enough this spring to warrent being sent down for any other reason. He's worked a few innings at far less than 100%, so I'm quite certain they're going to disregard his stats completely. I believe he'll have 2 ST outings before camp breaks, and if he is pain free, he'll be our #5 guy (since he doesn't throw much the first month or so, and we could use him in the pen as well). And yes, last year he won 14 games...but, keep in mind that he had an ERA over 5. I really like him as a pitcher, but to be honest, he should have far better numbers than that. It was his first season in the rotation, though, so this season he will have no excuses not to perform well. He finished off '02 on a high note (won like 7 of his last 10 games with an ERA under 4), so I hope he can ride that high and come back from his inflammation.
