  1. It's hard to be worse than Cliff Politte is.
  2. QUOTE(T R U @ Jul 2, 2006 -> 04:24 PM) This game is more on Mark than it is on anyone else Yes, it is on Mark a lot, but Ozzie and Politte played big roles in it, too.
  3. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Jul 2, 2006 -> 04:18 PM) I'd take Montero without a seconds thought over Cliff. They both suck. Montero sucks less, I guess. I'd still rather someone else.
  4. QUOTE(T R U @ Jul 2, 2006 -> 04:19 PM) Uh Buehrle gave up 7 first inning runs and we lost by 4.. it cant all be ozzie and cliffs fault Whoa, buddy. I was tearing Buehrle apart the whole first half of this thread. I'm not giving anyone a free pass. This game's on Buehrle, Ozzie, and Politte. They all contributed a lot to this s*** fest.
  5. So, worst loss of the year? We just kept coming back, but our "ace" kept digging a deeper hole. Then, in a genius move, we bring in Politte when we're closing the gap, and leave him in for two innings to make sure there's no chance of winning.
  6. Well, Politte gave up 4 runs, we lost by 4 runs. That was some great managing, Ozzie. Some of the finest we've ever seen.
  7. Is it just me, or would everyone rather have neither of these two pieces of trash?
  8. Absolutely no patience from Uribe, and we're down to our last out.
  9. This is bulls*** anymore. Cliff Politte has to be DFA'd. He absolutely has to be off of this f***ing team. If we went into the 9th down 3 runs or less, I'd feel confident we'd come back and win it. This s*** has to be demoralizing for the team. How many times can you come back just to have your s***ty pitching f*** you over again and again? Funny how one of the best wins of the year may be followed by the worst loss.
  10. Thank you, Ozzie Guillen. Thank you for doing your best to give the Cubs this game. CLIFF POLITTE HAS GOT TO BE OFF THIS TEAM TOMORROW. GET THE f*** OFF OF OUR TEAM, YOU f***ING WORTHLESS PIECE OF s***.
  11. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Jul 2, 2006 -> 03:56 PM) Ozzie obviously has no interest in winning this game. ^ Really, what the f***? We've been coming back all game, yet he leaves in Buehrle to give up 11 runs and then brings in Cliff.
  12. Oh, come on, Ozzie! WHY IS POLITTE STILL IN?
  13. Is he still having the best defensive season for a CF since 1887?
  14. Uh, f*** the Tigers, we have a game of our own going on.
  15. Pods is ridiculous without the K's looking. Honestly, how f***ing many times has he done that?
  16. I wish Buehrle was able to "keep us in this game." 9 runs should be plenty against any team.
  17. Man, this offense is something else.
  18. You know what's funny? I'm actually a little happy that Politte only gave up 2 runs. That's how bad he is.
  19. Alright, I don't give up on the offense this year, but Politte is putting this out of reach.
  20. Just look at Politte's face when they zoom in. He knows better than the rest of us that he's done.
  21. Seeing Cliff Politte in a game brings back so many bad memories of Koch, Jackson, and just the days of the terrible bullpen.
  22. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Jul 2, 2006 -> 03:24 PM) The offense can't bail us out everytime. I didn't say it should, so don't paint it like I said that. I've been nothing but grateful for this offense. They just happened to blow a few chances there. They still scored 7 runs so far. Cliff Politte must be off this team soon. He is so clearly a detriment to this team.
