  1. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
  2. Let's score some more runs in the bottom of the 8th.
  3. If Willie's coming in at SS, our defense on the left side will be horrendous.
  4. QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Jul 5, 2005 -> 09:06 PM) Well at least we got the run... Now it's time for Pods to prove why he should be an all star.. Wanna rethink that?
  5. AJ is at his best when he goes the other way, that's good to see. And Pablo is still Pablo, thankfully.
  6. f***, Green bobbled that ball twice and still got Dye.
  7. Let's get some runs in the bottom of the 7th.
  8. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jul 5, 2005 -> 08:45 PM) 70 at the start of this inning. Need to get him up to 90 at the end. Oh f***! That's awful. No excuse for that at all.
  9. What's the pitch count on the s***bags' pitcher?
  10. QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Jul 5, 2005 -> 08:41 PM) Wow some of you need to shut the hell up. We are 29 over .500. The game is nowhere near over. As for the Uribe play, it was a great effort and a good idea. There was no excuse for AJ to not block the plate there, he should have prevented the runners foot from reaching home plate, that is the duty of the catcher. It was not Juan's fault at all. Can't really blame AJ either. He throw was a little high so he had to get up, therefore he left the plate a little open. Like I said, Uribe did the right thing on a hard-hit ball like that, but he just threw it a little high.
  11. QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Jul 5, 2005 -> 08:39 PM) Why... So T-Ball Garcia can give up the lead again... besides the Sox have never been able to hit this guy. Unless the pen comes early the game is over. The guy has throw like 3 awesome games in a row, what the f*** do you want from him?
  12. Garcia ain't gonna throw a gem every single time. Uribe made a heads up play, and it didn't cost us a thing. He had enough balls to go home and the DP erases everything. The run would've scored anyway.
  13. Freddy Garcia: Sorry that we scored on you guys, please accept this lead.
  14. God damn is Uribe stupid. He's such an awful baserunner. P.S. - Thank you for the run, Cantu.
  15. PK is such a terrible hitter right now. I can't think of one other player that swings at so many balls as him while watching strikes go right down the pipe. But he'll hit 20 more useless homers this year and sign a fat deal with another team.
  16. Wow, this guy is f***ing smoking!
  17. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jul 5, 2005 -> 07:28 PM) Actually ESPN has a couple articles up about how the numbers amongst 1b are really down this year, particularly in the AL. At least 1 is Insider, so I can't read it, but it really does seem to be a bit of a trend. That's what I'm saying. It's sad that PK is actually just about the best 1B this year in the AL.
  18. QUOTE(chi-guy2 @ Jul 5, 2005 -> 07:24 PM) f*** another home run ball foul edit: pk strikes out 2 of the 4 hitters that inning smoked the ball. And Pods got a solid hit. I expect a few runs at least.
  19. What is PK batting in the last few weeks? It's kind of sad for all of AL 1B that he's an all-star.
  20. f***, I hate those kinds of plays.
  21. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jul 5, 2005 -> 04:19 PM) Would have been even more ridiculous if he didn't have that awful outing against the a's. Hopefully he can bounce back against them later this week. That outing's not in the stats because it happened in July, right?
  22. QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 5, 2005 -> 04:05 PM) DBAHO is the source...?? No offense to DBAHO, of course. I'm sure if he said it.. it's in print somewhere - like Shilling's comments about never playing for the Sox, and Randy's comments last year about not wanting to go anywhere but the Yanks (DBAHO.. think you might have gotten the 2 mixed up..?). Clemens has yet to make a comment about leaving Houston so I'd just like to know where the idea that he doesn't want to come here came from.. I've never heard it. I'm not gonna go looking for it. I've heard it and I believe it. I don't care enough about it to go looking for it.
  23. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jul 5, 2005 -> 03:52 PM) IIRC there was a source a while back saying he would only play for the Yankees if he was traded and no-one else, or at least that's the general consensus. There's your source.
  24. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jul 5, 2005 -> 03:41 PM) Doesnt matter what he did then, its what he does NOW, and what he has now is a 1.41 in a hitters park. If you want to sit back and make sure we have some question mark minor leaguers for the next few years, thats you, I for one, would sell the barons for a WS title. Our minor leaguers dont exactly have the best track record coming up anyway, who says they are worth jack s***? Our top prospect just came up and tanked, the track record speaks the trend is that. So you wouldnt trade some serious question marks for the best pitcher in the NL? Thats honestly sad, I want to win now, and this is the team to do it, is there anyone else who wants a WS title? We know from the 85 bears that we can live on it for at least 20 years if not more. The main problem is that Clemens won't come here. He doesn't want to play on the Sox, period.
  25. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jul 5, 2005 -> 03:19 PM) I actually agree with milkman here. I'd take Clemens don't get me wrong but I wouldn't give up the world for him. He was an above average pitcher his last 5 or so years in the american league but he wasn't special. I'd still love to have the guy but I wouldn't want to give up the farm for him but that's just me. Thank God. I thought I was alone in the world.
