  1. Counterpoint, I can figure out bunny ears AND they fucking suck. I haven’t missed them in the 20 years since I last used them. I pay for cable and it isn’t too much for me to ask a channel carrying 3 pro teams in the 3rd largest market to come to a deal for availability on most platforms
  2. Getzll fix it
  3. How exactly is Thome such a big upgrade? What has he done that makes him such a better interviewer? Is he bringing the big Jim AOL chats?
  4. It’s boring but it’s a consistent and true narrative. Sorry
  5. The first sentence about former Sox players in the playoffs. Again, Lynn is on the cardinals last I checked. Chavez isn’t an ex Sox but you can do whatever you want with naming all these guys if it makes you happy
  6. I didn’t think they even had 10 wins yet and he was acting like the Sox have the league on notice now lol
  7. Kyyle23 replied to SCCWS's topic in Pale Hose Talk
…and other fairy tales, as told by Jerry Reinsdorf
  8. Lance Lynn was not on the dodgers this season, and Jesse Chavez? lol come on
  9. To me it just got to be a pig covered in lipstick. The Pham fight was incredibly embarrassing
  10. Two of those tres amigos haven’t really shown much offensively at the major league level and the third forgot how to hit when he put on the esteemed Sox jersey. This is a “wish in one hand and s%*# in the other and tell me which fills up first” scenario
  11. I think you missed that he has standards that are not being met on the field
  12. Being a liquor magnate in Chicago definitely has its advantages lol
  13. Were you against the 2016 rebuild?
  14. No that’s what you keep bringing it back to. The “argument” is a lot of us calling this a clown shoes organization because of their continued lack of effort and follow through, and you going “nuh uh. What do you expect? A working website with actual working links?”
  15. Honestly I don’t want to argue with you about how much Jerry sucks, but alas, here we are
  16. What’s the dictionary definition of “we will have the website up and running on day 1” I have to think there is some sort of qualification besides the site existing as a placeholder
  17. Just takes a little work and knowledge and you can spot the fake news. You won’t be burned if you don’t jump into the fire and tell everyone it’s fine
  18. How could he even know what to do with a new cable station? He is old!
  19. I get it, you accept it.
  20. Personally I think a working website on day 1 of a sports television station in the 3rd largest market is something that shouldn’t be half assed. And to add to that point, having agreements with cable carriers is a right there with it. i know some have accepted the failures and mediocrity of this man, but I don’t
  21. They have to get it done before the bulls and hawks seasons start lol. This is dumb to cut it close
  22. The Sox tried to fix the Vargas, and ended up with a box of extra parts and bolts. Oh well, maybe next year
  23. Nah you aren’t even saying that you are reading the same thing over and over, you are telling everyone that being mad at JR is dumb and there is no ROI on this sport for anyone. If you don’t like the content on the site during the worst season in the history of the game, I don’t know what to tell you man. It all sucks but hey keep being mad at the board 👍
