  1. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 22, 2012 -> 08:08 AM) For a 6th/7th round pick, it's worth a shot... I don't think it's that bad of a move Carroll just keeps stacking players like he is in college. Thats the WTF. There are currently 8 tight ends on their roster counting Winslow. Last year they brought in Zach Miller and let Carlson go. Im pretty sure they have had the most roster moves of any team by far since Carroll showed up. IIRC the year he showed up they made 200+ roster moves
  2. Winslow to Seahawks. Carroll continues his string of WTF moves
  3. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 21, 2012 -> 09:44 PM) If I am a troll, then Fathom is a Cub fan. Neither is (are) the case. Neither have definitively been proven false.
  4. QUOTE (Jake @ May 21, 2012 -> 07:54 PM) A lie detector test can literally be tampered by use of your sphincter And I heard Samardzija has a spastic colon
  5. QUOTE (everafan @ May 21, 2012 -> 04:21 PM) Here's how I see it. Intent is irrelevant. He hit Konerko in the head. He has to be discouraged from being comfortable throwing that pitch for the rest of the game. The only way to achieve that is to respond in kind - throw the same type of pitch to one of their guys. If it hits him, so be it. This will always result in both teams getting warned, taking away the way inside corner for both pitchers. But you certainly can not let Smardja get the next turn. Unfortunately. Humber did this, hence ISSUE OVER.
  6. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 21, 2012 -> 02:30 PM) Unsurprisingly, Dwight wins and Stan Van Gundy and Otis Smith are fired. I can't wait until the owner realizes at this time next season that it was all for nothing.
  7. QUOTE (knightni @ May 21, 2012 -> 12:35 PM) There's a story out there hinting that Berkman may retire because of the injury. It didn't even look like he did anything. It was just a normal stretch for a ball at first. No contact, he just leaned forward and you could tell it gave out.
  8. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 21, 2012 -> 01:02 PM) What are you talking about? Chauncey never had a major injury before this year. He's played in at least 70 games every year since 2001 before this year. He always seemed to have something nagging. Him and Rip seemed to have the same thing this year, the only difference is Chauncey's achilles exploded
  9. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ May 21, 2012 -> 11:38 AM) Lions are off to a good start this year. MLive.com reports WR Titus Young has been barred from Lions OTAs after getting into a fight with FS Louis Delmas last week. Yea, between that and the numerous off field incidents, not looking good so far. tremendously talented offense still, though
  10. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 21, 2012 -> 11:37 AM) HOLY SH*T MOVE ON Dude, Pete Rose won world serieses and rode parades and Cincinatti should be forever grateful who cares that he bet on the team duh
  11. QUOTE (Marty34 @ May 21, 2012 -> 11:24 AM) I thought he got some time off last year for saying something overly negative about the Cubs? I have no idea, I dont pay attention to their little dramz. I just dont think JR is going to call and get Hollandsworth suspended because of what he said. Kaplan was just as if not more critical and I dont think he is going to get any time off
  12. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ May 21, 2012 -> 09:35 AM) Any chance the Sox are looking to replace Kosuke Fukudome? Maybe with someone like Jordan Danks. Do you want to bring up Jordan and stick him on the bench in a reserve role and take away consistent ABs?
  13. QUOTE (flavum @ May 21, 2012 -> 10:49 AM) You can throw Johnson in the corner outfield. Lillibridge handles himself well in the outfield anywhere. It's covered. Have you seen the outrage around here that Orlando Hudson is going to play 3B when he has never played 3B in the Majors? At least it is still an infield position. Now you want to throw Johnson in the outfield? And what happens if Lillibridge gets injured? Im cool with Fukudome for now.
  14. I seriously doubt that he was suspended
  15. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ May 21, 2012 -> 10:56 AM) Kellen Winslow looks to be on the market. He's a soljah! I cant wait for the bears season to start.
  16. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 21, 2012 -> 10:12 AM) Fukodome would probably be hitting .300 in Charlotte. Dan Johnson HAS NOT HIT OVER .200 IN THE MAJOR LEAGUES SINCE 2007. If you think he'll be better than Fukudome, you are kidding yourself. Plus, Johnson is another infielder. If you only have Lillibridge as your backup outfielder with Escobar, Johnson, and Hudson as bench guys you are just asking for trouble.
  17. QUOTE (iamshack @ May 21, 2012 -> 08:57 AM) Would he have used one of the crutches as a bat? Yes, a bat to beat on Samardzija's face
  18. The eyepatch would be nice, but I think he should have come out in crutches.
  19. PK14. Never Forget. We need a uniform patch, Moose Skowrons should be removed and replaced with PK14
  20. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 21, 2012 -> 05:43 AM) I agree. Though I think a healthy Chauncey Billups improves their half-court offense immensely. I expected Blake to improve off his spectacular "rookie" season. He was still good. But Kevin Love shot right past him. They need to get some better pieces around their two stars. Yea but Chauncey hasn't been healthy for a number of years now, counting on him to be around to lead the charge was foolish. So sad to see VDN lose in a sweep after all of the s*** he went through in Chicago.....
  21. QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ May 20, 2012 -> 09:27 PM) Does Hudson have the arm to play major league 3B or does he have a second-baseman's arm? We shall see

QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ May 20, 2012 -> 04:16 PM) There's a face hugger in one of the trailers. I don't think I've ever been more excited for a movie. I don't think it is a facehugger, I think it is that cobra thing. One thing about the xenomorph aliens is that they are supposed to be hyperadaptive and evolve very quickly as a result of the DNA of their host, which is why it was a large human sized alien in 1 and 2, and a dog sized alien in 3. From everything I am reading that Ridley Scott has said in interviews, I think we are going to see the Aliens a little bit different than what we know them to look like.
