  1. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Feb 18, 2009 -> 02:57 PM) http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/basebal...0,4840838.story b b b b b but he is getting traded to the Cubs!
  2. QUOTE (fathom @ Feb 18, 2009 -> 01:43 PM) I don't get the big deal about all of this...the Outside the Lines about Jenks back in 2004 (I believe) was 10 times worse than the stuff being reported in this book. I think its just one of those "out of left field" things that is just sort of annoying. Yet, the season hasnt started, so people need something controversial to talk about. Not really a big deal, and totally rehashed material
  3. Wow, this guy made a generalization of Bobby Jenks life after spending less than a day with him. Can you say character assassination? WTF, this guy is chewing some serious sour grapes
  4. QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Feb 18, 2009 -> 11:09 AM) Yeah, but they've never done it in any type of storyline. IIRC they've also never blatantly said it, it's always been assumed. Edge>Orton still. Edge still draws more heat, IMO. And better on the mic. I'm not saying Orton isn't over at all, but we'll see how over he is come Wrestlemania. To cement him as one of the best in the business he's gotta win...he just has to. BTW, who the hell books ECW? So we're gonna have Christian/Swagger for the title next week? really? that can't wait for wrestlemania? Maybe they are accelerating the process because Christian will be leaving ECW shortly after Mania? Give him the strap, let him lose it in Mania due to some sort of outside interference from another program, and Christian leaves ECW and goes to SD or RAW in the draft
  5. B&B were talking about this yesterday. Basically the guy said Jenks used to show up hungover and fake injuries to get out of conditioning drills. Nothing earth shattering, we knew he had problems which is why the Angels let him go. He has been fine as a member of the Sox, thats all i am concerned about
  6. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Feb 18, 2009 -> 07:53 AM) No different than some of the predictions coming into 2005....with the team's chemistry totally changed and the offensive firepower of Magglio, Carlos Lee and Valentin all gone. I dont see that dropoff. Cabrera, Crede and Swisher are not the same loss(slugging wise) as Maggs, Lee and Stache. If Dye was traded, I would agree, but as it stands Thome, Konerko, Dye and Quentin are more than satisfactory
  7. QUOTE (The Critic @ Feb 17, 2009 -> 03:04 PM) If by heat you mean that I can't decide if I hate myself for not changing the channel immediately or hate my television for showing that thing to me, than yeah, she creates heat. For me she creates Vince Russo heat or Jeff Jarrett heat. No way man, wrestling fan dont respond to people on the mic that truly suck(see: Orton, Randy. Before the last year). Watching her on the mic yesterday, it was almost overwhelming how much the crowd responded to her. I dont like her either, but I cannot deny the fact that she is doing well what makes heels succeed. Jarrett and Russo always rambled and ended up getting the "boring" chants, Vicki just gets the straight up hate.

    Why is it called

QUOTE (shipps @ Feb 17, 2009 -> 02:36 PM) Why is it called gay to hold hands with your best friend when you are walking down the street together? You should be able to do that with ones best friend... keep at it. eventually people will accept you for who you are
  10. QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 17, 2009 -> 10:19 AM) Sorry guys. Orton is the biggest heel the E has had in years. fathom is correct. Steph took that RKO better than a lot of the wrestlers do. Vicki Guerrero says hi. Nobody creates heat like she does
  11. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Feb 17, 2009 -> 11:45 AM) Had a few mates who went down there this weekend. One of them flashed his "willy" in a bar and proceeded to get thrown out by the biggest bouncer he's ever seen in his life. Too many dicks in the party. Too many dicks in the club
  12. There is nothing better than a Honeycrisp apple in the fall. Its basically the solid form of Apple Cider
  13. "You named your kid after some movie? What did you name this kid, Shrek?"
  14. QUOTE (chw42 @ Feb 16, 2009 -> 04:45 PM) It seems kind of weird to lose weight while having an injury that prohibits you from walking or doing any excessive exercises. But it's good for Jose. He was in the pool at the end of the season. They said he really attacked the rehab regimen as early as he could.
  15. Man he was freaking ripped in 2000
  16. QUOTE (lostfan @ Feb 16, 2009 -> 04:15 PM) So here is a bulletin my brother puts up on Myspace. sunday feb 15th sucked ass. actually it all wasnt so bad... till i left for work. then fate itself bent me over and f***ed me in the ass. i prolly could of enjoyed the day even with the inevitable dick in my ass if it werent for the fact that fate has a massive phallus and the blood leaking from my anus did not provide sufficient lubrication for the friction induced by fate reaming my ass like a gigantic john deere corn combine. drink with me on tuesday. ill tell u all about it. your brother is quite descriptive in his misery
  17. Is it me, or does Tony Romo look like Paul Konerko in this picture?
  18. No charges filed. South Carolina drug dealers can all breath a sigh of relief
  19. I never thought Contreras looked so heavy that he needed to lose that much weight. In fact, I always thought he looked to be in great shape regardless
  20. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Feb 16, 2009 -> 10:17 AM) Agreed. And I've never heard of an Aussie girl called Keitha BTW. The aussie hatred they are building up on the show is awesome. Especially from Murray "I bet she is in the bathroom coming up with things to insult me with" LOL
  21. I wonder if he has already etched "US Senator" on his creepy gravestone?
  22. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Feb 16, 2009 -> 08:11 AM) Well, his reaction to his brother certainly wasn't serious. Either way, this is seeming like a highly enjoyable show! when he was arguing with his brother and sister in law and he didnt want to stop screaming because he would lose the argument, I could not stop laughing. His brother seems to be someone who will be likeable
  23. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Feb 16, 2009 -> 07:55 AM) I didn't see the serious parts... It has SERIOUS potential, but that's about it. I really enjoyed this episode. Eh, his brother trying to bring him back to earth, him crying when he went to sleep. While it was funny, the scene with the bartender in the backroom was pretty crazy
