How did Salmons slip under the radar so long? That guy can fill it up, and he is pretty efficient

Apparently Natasha Richardson(wife of Liam Neeson, daughter of Vanessa Redgrave, sister of Joely Richardson) had a fall at a ski resort and suffered a severe brain injury that may or may not have left her brain dead. New york newspapers are reporting that she is being flown to NY where she will be removed from life support with her family in the room. If true, a terribly sad situation.

RotoWorld Suggests White Sox should sign Jim Edmonds
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 17, 2009 -> 11:09 AM) Eh, with his defense, Chris Young would be a solid #7/#8 hitter in our lineup and I'd have no complaints. That's of course assuming he'd get playing time. Im not talking about you specifically, Im talking about the site in general. Lets face it, we are all hyperventilating crazies when it comes to our own players performing

Poll of the Night
QUOTE (shipps @ Mar 17, 2009 -> 10:14 AM) You gave only one option with the food. You might as well listed dog s*** and stink bait in that category. That IS what he listed. Caviar and Nachos? WTF? Heads should be banned from the keyboard when he drinks

RotoWorld Suggests White Sox should sign Jim Edmonds
Chris Young would be eaten alive BA-style on this website if he had those numbers while playing CF for the Sox last year. We would be in the same position right now, looking for a CF while considering all of the alternatives

Well then, I guess I like Everything Pixar does now There is a new short that is going to premiere before "Up", called "Partly Cloudy" http://screenrant.com/pixars-newest-short-...oudy-ross-6070/ check out the premise and the picture that goes along with it

QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Mar 17, 2009 -> 07:56 AM) I don't know, the only time I remember them playing in Carbondale was at Boo Jr's and it was the night that the Sox got into that huge brawl with the Tigers. The show I saw was pretty crazy. There were two openers and they were both off the hook, DBT were definitely an opener. This was before 2000, it was either 98 or 99. It was when the Urge was playing the copper at least 3 times a year, and I was seeing about 20-25 shows a year

QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Mar 17, 2009 -> 06:53 AM) That is kind of how I feel about the Drive By Truckers. To me, they've already made their best music. They're not going to play in stadiums, but I used to be able to see them in 300 seat clubs now I would have to go to 3,000 seat theaters. I am pretty sure i saw the Drive By Truckers open up for the another band(I think i was the Urge) waaaaaaaaaay back when at the Copper.

Flight of the Conchords Season 2
I thought this weeks episode was more creatively fun than it was funny, but I still really liked the show. And I am really bummed out that next weeks episode is the last this season

RotoWorld Suggests White Sox should sign Jim Edmonds
QUOTE (SouthsideDon48 @ Mar 16, 2009 -> 07:51 PM) The Carlos Quentin situation is no way comparable to the failed Brian Anderson experiment. At the time the Diamondbacks traded away Quentin to the White Sox, they had a crowded outfield. Kenny was savvy enough to snatch one of their surplus outfield pieces, and it just happened to be the one the Sox organization projected to have the best potential: Quentin. If anything, I compare the way the Diamondbacks gave up Quentin to how we traded Chris Young to the Diamondbacks. As for Brian Anderson, he's more comparable to Felix Pie, and it's sad how no one realizes it. Brian Anderson would probably benefit from a change of scenery by being traded to another team. Comparing Anderson to Quentin is apples and oranges. And my point is that you undervalue Brian Anderson. Sorry you are so down on him, but I think he has a chance to be something respectable in this league, and on this team.

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Mar 16, 2009 -> 02:23 PM) He's also coming off of his best season. I say give him a chance. I am pretty sure the Bears are going to be pretty conservative when giving out chances to folks like this. They have been burned pretty badly in the last 4 years

RotoWorld Suggests White Sox should sign Jim Edmonds
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Mar 16, 2009 -> 12:22 PM) As a Cub, Edmonds was a lot less of a pompous ass clown then he had been earlier in his career. I think he's humbled. He can still hit, field, and has decent leadership skills, the guy just can't run very well anymore. which is something that should be taken into consideration considering the position he would be playing

With the Bears complete lack of talent at WR, I hope they consider him With his alcohol and coke problems, I really hope they do not consider him. This guy is one incident away from missing a season
