QUOTE (shipps @ Jan 25, 2009 -> 02:34 PM) Speaking of which, it took me a long time to realize that there was absolutely NO penetration happening in those movies. And even once I found out it took a while until I was convinced. I felt so decieved. It is a humbling experience. A boy becomes a man

QUOTE (The Bones @ Jan 25, 2009 -> 02:03 AM) The Room is a must see! You know, I think i will take their word for it that "It is the Citizen Kane of bad movies". It doesnt look all that different from the Cinemax late night movies that I have seen pass

QUOTE (zenryan @ Jan 25, 2009 -> 09:34 AM) Ive watched the Arlovski/Fedor match a few more times now and I take back what I originally said. Fedor didnt look off. Looked more like someone feeling out the range and made an adjustment to counter AA. Arlovski really didnt land anything that would be of threat. Just some nice glancing shots but nothing of substance. Fedor baited Arlovski into that punch. He bounced off the rope like he was punch drunk and when Arlovski launched himself Fedor was waiting for his chin.

QUOTE (LosMediasBlancas @ Jan 24, 2009 -> 12:34 PM) Get a 2nd and 3rd opinion. I don't trust vets, dentists or mechanics, they know that we don't know any better. Good luck with doggie. Honestly, I am in no position to shop for opinions, this needs to be done now.

Did anyone hear about a flap between Murphy and Steve Stone the other day? B&B were mentioning something yesterday, that Murph was pissed at Stone for not wanting to do his show anymore. They also mentioned that Stone called him a Mustachioed Cheerleader, LOLZ -
QUOTE (LosMediasBlancas @ Jan 24, 2009 -> 03:55 AM) Cost?? Looking at a laser surgery removal cost of (estimated) $436.00. However, the thing about Mast Cell Tumors is that they are aggressive, and can end up anywhere from the skin(most common) to the liver, spleen, blood cells, gastrointestinal tract. And my Vet said that they send out "feelers" to the rest of the body and move around. my dog had a tiny bump that popped out in the last week or so to the size of a fist, so we know it is aggressive. And she has it right above her left elbow, which is a difficult place as it is, but they also want to remove tissue around the tumor to prevent it from spreading, which is hard as well because there just isnt a lot of extra tissue where the tumor is. Basically I could have the tumor removed next week, only to find out shortly thereafter that she is dying from a tumor on her spleen. She is a 9 year old lab, and I have been told about them getting tumors like this, but you are never really prepared for it.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 23, 2009 -> 11:53 AM) Some of us do....I don't understand why people that don't care always have interject in Cubs threads just to say "who cares". The same way I dont understand why everytime Cubs ownership is brought up you have to interject "here comes Peavy"
-
QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 23, 2009 -> 11:48 AM) Let me ask you this...do you really think the Cubs traded Pie for Olson cause they thought that was a fair trade? My point is, I DONT CARE ABOUT THE CUBS THAT MUCH. That is all. last year it was the same thing "Oh dear, the Cubs got Rich Harden, they are going to win the world series, oh me oh my" Who cares?
-
QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 23, 2009 -> 11:41 AM) Because nearly every reputable baseball insider has stated that the deal wouldn't be completed until the ownership situation was resolved. yeah? so?

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jan 23, 2009 -> 08:54 AM) Sleeping outside in a tent, in the woods. Cottage cheese, especially mixed into pasta with some parmesan. Obscure character actors who really have only one character, like Michael Biehn. I liked these widely-panned or box office flop movies: The Last Action Hero, Fallen, Serenity, The Edge I loved that movie, lol. I watched "They Live" last night, long live Roddy Piper! I also like Top Chef(thanks alot Wife!)

I would love nothing more than to have Beckham come up and blow everyone away in ST and just steal a spot

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Jan 23, 2009 -> 08:39 AM) Nicolas Cage has gotten kinda creepy. Not to mention most of the movies he makes are awful. My dad loves his movies, it drives me nuts. The last Cage movie that I liked was Matchstick Men, and only because it was out of character for him and I like Sam Rockwell

QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Jan 23, 2009 -> 07:50 AM) College Sports. I hate watching second rate talent. Most people think I'm crazy when I say that I LOVE the NBA but hate college basketball. Eh?!?!?!? You sure post a lot in the college basketball thread about ISU to not like the sport in general.

QUOTE (BobDylan @ Jan 23, 2009 -> 07:27 AM) Those feelings are mutual, JERKBAG! LOL, gotta get the jabs in when we have no chat

QUOTE (LosMediasBlancas @ Jan 23, 2009 -> 04:07 AM) I find myself going back to cash. It's easier to keep track of how much I'm spending. Handing someone a plastic card is much easier than handing someone a hundred dollar bill. It keeps my spending in check. You get to a point in your adult life where it just doesnt work like that any more
