Nine Inch nails just released a free download album called "Ghosts I-IV", it is purely instrumental. You can get the 9 track download for free, if you pay 5 bucks you get a bunch of remixes, 10 bucks gets you even more remixes, and then there are some 75 and 300 dollar packages that come with signed cds and stuff. they released this yesterday without making any noise about it, and the site still went down because the site traffic was triple of what they anticipated.

QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Mar 3, 2008 -> 09:56 PM) I liked Donatello. He always had the best weapon out of any of the Turtles. Who wants to use nun-chuks, when you have that large stick to use against your enemies. Who wants 2 big sticks when you can have 2 big muthaf****** swords as your weapons? Rafaels weapons seemed like the least helpful, at least to me. Back to your regularly scheduled bashing of drinkers and nondrinkers with no gray area in between

QUOTE(kjshoe04 @ Mar 3, 2008 -> 05:55 PM) I was thinking that if Creighton/Bradley were to beat ISU in the Finals, then I could easily see 3 teams. If ISU were to make it to the Arch Madness finals, I don't see any way they could leave them out. I don't think SIU really has any chance outside of winning the whole thing. Any thoughts on MVC Player of the year? Someone from Drake? I think it will be Josh Young or Emmenecker. Although I would love to see it go to Eldridge. I think Josh Young has had it locked up for a long time -

QUOTE(kjshoe04 @ Mar 3, 2008 -> 04:54 PM) Lunardi finally has ISU solidly IN this week, not on the last four in, SIU is also still on the next four out list. Maybe 3 bids for the Valley? SIU is going to have to do some serious damage in the Arch madness, and most likely win the thing to get into the tourney. Their jekyll and hyde nature is not good for selection time -
QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Mar 3, 2008 -> 01:06 AM) to Politte's credit (...? no idea what to call it), it is hard to throw 98 with a shoulder that's torn to hell That was part of my point towards Marmol. If he can stay healthy(keep his arm in one piece) then he should be pretty good, Politte couldnt do that and went from a hard thrower to out of the league in 2 years. The comparison was drawn between Marmol 07 and Cotts/Politte 05, and the question was asked "how could you even compare?", when in reality they were pretty close.

QUOTE(knightni @ Mar 2, 2008 -> 03:15 PM) Think they'll be any vet WR/RBs released around draft time that would be worth picking up? You know there will be. Most of them are pretty well known about when it happens, but occassionally there is the surprise release. -
QUOTE(knightni @ Mar 2, 2008 -> 03:02 PM) They did last year when he started off soooo slowly. Was't he injured last year as well? Not my friends that are Cubs fans. No way, they thought he was the second coming of Willie Mays, and centerfield was going to be a piece of cake

QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Mar 2, 2008 -> 02:25 PM) Soriano broke his finger in BP. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/spring2008/n...tory?id=3273692 i just have this feeling that Soriano is going to have a bad year. A year that will make even the most die-hard Cub fans question his contract

QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Mar 2, 2008 -> 12:29 PM) Caught "Walk Hard - The Dewey Cox Story" at the brew and view last night. Very funny flick. Definitely worth a rental. where did you go for that? My wife works at Emmetts Pub in Dundee and they offer a "Brew and a View" in the bar area. Last time they had "The Big Lebowski" on with cheap White Russians (Caucasians)

Oh, I whole heartedly agree that judgement of people on the internet is out of control. It is quite easy for someone to declare another person an "uggo" or other fun terms without actually having to show your own face or face the person you are calling out (PA, I just used your "uggo" term as an example, Im not trying to call you out specifically). But as you stated above in Red, these two girls seemed like they had a pretty high opinion of themselves and acted in that manner.
-
QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Mar 2, 2008 -> 11:32 AM) The problem is trying to judge any girl based on one photo. Photos don't always tell the whole story or sometimes even tell the wrong one. Some girls aren't very photogenic. Sometimes the light isn't good. Sometimes their makeup looks like crap that day or the light makes it look worse than it actually is. Some girls are incredibly hot because of how they carry themselves. The idea of looking at one picture and judging is ridiculous if you expect accuracy. I've seen girls not look great in a picture be extremely attractive and vice versa. But then again, the internet is a breeding ground for guys judging women harshly. The same girl a guy types about needing a six pack or calls her ugly, is the same girl he is turning his head for in real life. Just the nature of the beast (no pun intended) I guess. At the same time, these girls are telling people that they are the best looking girls on a flight and that this is the reason that they were kicked off of the flight. IMO, they set themselves up to be judged with their egos.

I think I read somewhere that she is collaborating with Stephen King as well edit: that is Steven Spielberg, not Stephen King. The Showtime show that Rock was referring to, "The United States of Tara"

QUOTE(KevinM @ Mar 2, 2008 -> 10:28 AM) I would take him as a 4th OF over Owens any day of the week on this team. why?
-
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Mar 2, 2008 -> 09:28 AM) When you factor in the league in which he pitched and the enormous ballpark in which he called home he was a below average pitcher last season. A 4.34 ERA in 15 starts in San Francisco for a pitcher who is supposed to be an ace is just terrible. Hell he didn't even make it to 200 IP. Looking at his monthly splits, without his great August (2.50 ERA - by then his team was already sunk and it was largely his fault) his ERA would have been over 5. Yeah, I understand he should be much better for the amount he is getting paid and the park he plays in etc. I still was surprised to see 2/3 of an inning pitched with 8 ER

QUOTE(shipps @ Mar 2, 2008 -> 09:23 AM) When Gage gets his stimulus check he will finally be able to afford it. Maybe the the top of the page should say "The Soxtalk Front Page, brought to you by the IRS"

Last night was a Wii bonanza in my househould. My niece got the Dance Dance revolution game and dance pad, Endless Ocean, and Bust a Move Bash. Endless ocean is just fun to play around with, there is no real goal of the game outside of exploring, so my 13 year old niece, 9 year old niece, and 7 year old daughter really loved the game. Bust a move sounds like a dance game, but its like tetris with different colored bubbles, i havent gotten the hang of it yet, but it is also pretty fun DDR was fun for the girls, its not really my cup of tea per se, but it was fun to play with them. The song selection seemed a bit wierd

QUOTE(BearSox @ Mar 2, 2008 -> 08:45 AM) That's been happening to him for the past couple of seasons now. http://www.baseball-reference.com/z/zitoba01.shtml i dunno, last season looked about par for him except for the wins and losses.
