  1. Gotta think Matt Williams has his boxes packed already
  2. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Sep 11, 2015 -> 09:50 AM) The Score this morning said that when the Steelers complained, the NFL went to check out the Patriots headsets (and to tell them to take it off until the problem was solved), but every time they got near the Patriots sideline the problem magically resolved. However, on the Dan Patrick show, this was never brought up, and Patrick was saying that it's the NFL that runs the wireless equipment, so it's on them, not the Patriots, for not sorting it out or making the headsets unavailable for both sides. Sure, it doesnt happen anywhere but in New England, but it is on the NFL. Gotta hand it to the Patriots though, they are basically laughing and pushing it in our faces.
  3. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Sep 11, 2015 -> 08:12 AM) I hate Tom Brady. P.S.- Any thoughts on RadioGate? Cheaters be cheatin
  4. A few interesting things here, I think suicide can for the most part be ruled out. Unless he tried to shoot himself and hit the bulletproof vest, and then tried again and shot himself below the vest
  5. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 10, 2015 -> 05:23 PM) Suicide by definition isn't a rational act, so expecting people to behave rationally while doing it is a mistake. That said, I'd have expected some sort of forensic evidence of a gun being at close range if he were shot in the torso at close range, wouldn't I? Your body would be exposed to all of the gas and residue coming directly from the gun. Well thank you for pointing out a perceived mistake
  6. Torso doesn't seem like a smart way to commit suicide
  7. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 10, 2015 -> 12:20 PM) Suicide. It started up because of this quote:
  8. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 10, 2015 -> 12:03 PM) Is there any actual news or evidence for this, or is this just a lack of news turning into idle speculation? evidence of what? Suicide?
  9. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Sep 10, 2015 -> 11:54 AM) If I'm the Bears, why not pick up Wes Welker? His brain has to be straight up mush. I have read zero rumors about him going to any teams
  10. I just read a trib article where there is a small paragraph indicating that Gliniewicz was involved in the removal/retirement(possibly forced) of a his police chief. So thats kind of a strange thing to throw in there http://www.chicagotribune.com/suburbs/lake...0909-story.html I dont know what to think anymore. this whole thing is crazy
  11. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 10, 2015 -> 10:22 AM) Why does any cop lie about any story? Protect a colleague? Denial? You don't want to ruin your buddy's name so you make up a story about 3 suspects, it starts spiraling out of control, but it's too late to turn around and say you lied. It sounds very feasible to me. the 3 suspects were decribed by Office Gliniweicz as he was going after them. I understand a lie can spiral and get out of control, but do you honestly believe that it would have gotten past the FBI and other officers viewing the crime scene, to the point where the next day they are sending out Marshalls door to door to ask people if they saw anything? Its really strange, the entire thing. Im not completely ruling out suicide, I just cannot imagine that other branches of the law would be playing this up still to this day.
  12. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Sep 10, 2015 -> 07:58 AM) Not many examples. Cain and Escobar came out of an NL system. Choo has done fairly well with the Rangers, although not worth his contract. Altuve in the AL has held his own. Russell Martin has been pretty good but not like with Pitt. Adam Eaton? It does seem 90% of the improvements come from players going AL to NL. Choo started with the Indians, so that really doesnt count
  13. I just dont see how(if it was a suicide) any officer could walk up to him and see his body, and then concoct a story that would bring in the FBI and US Marshalls, as well as blocking off the entire area for hours. It just seems way too crazy to be true.
  14. QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 9, 2015 -> 12:28 PM) Any accurate QB was basically given the entire middle against the bears last year. Tannehill, Brady, Rodgers, Romo...god last year was terrible. MEL TUCKER, FOLKS

QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Sep 9, 2015 -> 12:13 AM) Oh no, that one is on the other side of town. They already remedied that problem
  16. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Sep 8, 2015 -> 04:50 PM) She's threatening to go right back to refusing to allow anyone in her office to issue licenses. http://www.cnn.com/2015/09/08/politics/kim...ucky/index.html Huckabee is like "you go on and break the law little lady lets get some votes!"
  17. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 8, 2015 -> 03:18 PM) Joel ShermanVerified account ‏@Joelsherman1 Post has learned http://nyp.st/1OvI2wQ #Mets Cespedes agreed to erase term that would force NYM to sign by 5 days after WS or not at all Ha. Billy Beane contract
  18. Jenks, would you argue for any other person that they deserve a 3rd QB spot on a roster? I mean, when you sit back and think about it, it is absurd. He is a limited QB with a specific skill set that only comes in handy at specific times.
  19. Released from jail under the condition that she doesnt interfere with issuing marriage licenses to legally qualifying couples. Im curious if she is still required to put her signature on it
  20. Bill Simmons went extreme ultimate fanboy regarding the Patriots Spygate article http://deadspin.com/patriots-fan-offers-co...repo-1729311526
  21. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Sep 8, 2015 -> 11:33 AM) See I don't think either one of these statements is true. He's not GREAT. He's probably not GOOD. But the dude has a winning record and a playoff win. Not a lot of QB's have that. He makes plays. He doesn't make a ton of mistakes. I get that there's a lower ceiling with him, but so what? He does some good things, how's that not worth a 3rd string slot? I think the biggest problem is the baggage he brings with him. He takes away the spotlight from other players. He'd be a guy that you have to talk about constantly despite never seeing the field. I think that, above all, is why he's not on a roster. You think he is the reason for this? and not the stud defense that the Broncos were sporting at that time?
  22. QUOTE (Big Hurtin @ Sep 8, 2015 -> 10:58 AM) Doing a Kamikaze? I heard that some former coaches admitted that they (Patriots) did have guys steal the opponent's play sheets. Yea this is in the ESPN article. Apparently it got so notorious that teams would leave out a fake sheet for them to steal.
  23. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Sep 8, 2015 -> 10:52 AM) The fact that it was so wide spread (at least 40 games, if not more) and they got caught and told to stop, but THEN KEPT DOING it, is the killer for me. That and the NFL's clear cover-up that I guess makes a little sense given the steroid scandal, but boy it makes the NFL look bad, Goodell in particular. I love that the commissioner asked to have the evidence destroyed, of course the Patriots are going to come out and deny everything. THERE IS NO PROOF
  24. QUOTE (shipps @ Sep 8, 2015 -> 09:08 AM) If they have what they think is video evidence of the three why havent they yet released them to the public to have everyone on the lookout for these guys? The public has nothing to go on. They probably dont want the guys to run, let them think they are unknown
  25. QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 8, 2015 -> 10:14 AM) It was a good read on how organized spygate was, and I didn't read all of it to see the stuff on the rams, however: - To me it's annoying with the timing I can't help but find it to just be an NFL dump to espn to gain favor - Honestly, I am not sure I followed spygate that well, as I thought it was all about the Rams not about taping defensive signals. I'm a little surprised that is illegal. Otherwise why do coaches cover their mouths as they talk, or try to obscure the signals at all? Its one thing to have someone looking across the field trying to decipher what the other team is doing, but its a different game when you are having someone recording those signals and bringing them back to the coach at halftime. I could have sworn that they were also recording the defensive signals in the walk thrus and practices before the game QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Sep 8, 2015 -> 10:29 AM) Yeah that article killed Goodell. he has been dead in the water for a while now
