QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ Nov 13, 2014 -> 02:58 PM) The whole DLC cost $12 bucks First part of the Bioshock DLC was like $10 It took Nintendo forever to get into the DLC game, but i like it so far. I hope they plan on it with their upcoming first party releases(Starfox, im looking at you)

QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Nov 13, 2014 -> 01:35 PM) Hopefully they had more luck with the game than I did. It took me two hours to install the game and once it finally installed the entire match-making system was down. I was really looking forward to playing some Halo 2 multiplayer, hopefully they get the server issues resolved soon. Kotaku had an articles about how many problems they have been having with online. It surprised me that they hadnt worked out most of the bugs before rolling it out.
  5. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Nov 13, 2014 -> 11:57 AM) To be honest, I actually respected the way he answered the questions. Much more so then almost everyone else at Halas has addressed things. He talked about how he has hundreds of things he'd do different and better, etc. I don't think Tucker is a good coach but I can at least commend him for how he handled things, which is something I can't say about a lot of the other guys at Halas, including our QB who talks about great practices. I think Gannon had the best quotes of anyone. I heard the same things that i heard from trestman, just hollow answers to pretty specific questions. The Score just played a tape of Hub asking why nothing is working and it was just painful to hear him try and talk around it.
  6. Mel Tucker had a wonderful press conference full of quotes yesterday. Everything is great people. The people at halas hall are the answer
  7. QUOTE (Jake @ Nov 13, 2014 -> 10:43 AM) I'm guessing there is some sort of clerical explanation, but I'd rather them be wrong that way than the other way. You'd just assume not slander the dead, knowing that many people will never see the correction. Plus, it feeds the conspiracy theorists when the story is revised to sound not as bad rather than the other way around How about neither? How about "Cause of death is unknown at this time. Results are pending autopsy/blood test" No need to correct something that isnt stated.
  8. Why do they always come out and say "alcohol wasnt involved" right away, only to have that proven wrong shortly afterwards? They did the same thing with Rob Bironas, its just weird.
  9. QUOTE (LDF @ Nov 13, 2014 -> 09:10 AM) for me, I don't know. is there a way to really gage that or will that be internal? We can get it gaged, but nobody will like what happens when it gets gaged. New sayings happen when things get gaged, the english language changes when things get gaged.

looking forward to the MarioKart 8 DLC today, especially the excitebike and F-zero tracks. They might as well call it Nintendo Kart now

He is the Executive Vice President of the White Sox, that is his specific role. He has a lot of input on this team, just like Hahn
  12. QUOTE (The Critic @ Nov 13, 2014 -> 03:22 AM) They can start by not inserting Cena into every storyline involving someone who's starting to get over. (See Ryder, Ryback, Wyatt, Nexus, Bryan, Ambrose and on and on and on - waiting for Cena to be inserted into a Rusev storyline, if it hasn't happened already by now) It's coming, Rusev has momentum as an unstoppable force. Only Cena can be that unstoppable force
  13. QUOTE (shysocks @ Nov 12, 2014 -> 02:08 PM) Although I guess that pretty well described Samardzija at the time of that trade. Cashner has already experienced some significant arm and shoulder injuries though, So I highly doubt he will be in the same money as JS
  14. He certainly has some flair
  15. Shanahan would be interesting. I kind of hope he would try and keep Kromer on as asst OC/line coach. That's pretty much all I would ask for.
  16. While I don't care that he thinks it, he has to understand how poorly that would come off. He is truly tone deaf
  17. QUOTE (chw42 @ Nov 10, 2014 -> 03:31 PM) In conclusion, it's Conte's fault. Here is the all-22 snapshot of what I was describing. Kevin Fishbain broke it down on chicagofootball.com Conte is circled in between the linebackers, confused on which coverage he should be on. And Vereen, on an island, waiting for Jordy to juke him
  18. QUOTE (fathom @ Nov 11, 2014 -> 08:12 PM) Wouldn't shock me if it's for Castro. If Cubs get Zimmermann and then sign Lester/Martin....well, they have a chance to be damn good Zimmerman is worth way more than Castro. Nats need to dig deep if they are moving Zimmerman
  19. QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 12, 2014 -> 06:59 AM) Tough first game but I'm stoked. Hope it's on TV up here. Wondering if a couple of local guys at SLU will play right away as frosh. Let me know if you find it on a channel, I checked the guide for Saturday and couldn't find it, but sometimes the games fill in the "TBA" slots the day before.
  20. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Nov 11, 2014 -> 04:56 PM) I heard they are playing against a lot more zone and can't figure it out. I think it is more because it relies on Cutler needing to be precise. And cutler really isn't all that accurate to begin with, which is why he is a "throw it up and get it" QB
  21. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Nov 11, 2014 -> 02:49 PM) With all these threads about signing Scherzer and trading Danks, how about a thread about me sleeping with Kate Upton? Has the same chance of happening. We had to close the fappening thread. It was appalling
  22. QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 11, 2014 -> 10:07 AM) Also, Last night watching the rebounding. I really do think 80% of this is Jo and Gibson's inability to jump. Gibson? That guy has always been a leaper. Pau, now that I can see
  23. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 11, 2014 -> 09:59 AM) I'm thinking the world championships time worked about as well as I would have hoped. It was a good pre-preseason for him, I'm glad he did it. Especially because he doesn't like playing pick up in the summer
  24. QUOTE (chw42 @ Nov 11, 2014 -> 09:48 AM) I really think Derrick has matured over the past year. When he came back last year, he was god awful. He looks like a completely different player so far this year. Still explosive, just without the bricks and turnovers of last year. Hopefully, he stays healthy. It's all in the reps for him. The more he plays the better he will be for it
