  1. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Nov 16, 2014 -> 01:14 PM) Except for the fumble hat he was lucky wasn't called and the unsportsmanslike conduct penalty, Cutler has been All Pro quality today. Sounds like our Cutler. "Except for the (insert terrible f***up), he has been great!"

  3. QUOTE (TRU @ Nov 14, 2014 -> 09:53 PM) Basically you have to agree to home runs at the coin toss or they are outs. Usually they agree to one and one, which means each team can only hit one, after that one they become outs. Why don't you just agree to it everytime? It doesn't seem to do you any good to disallow them, especially in your league where it seems like they aren't easy to come by

QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 14, 2014 -> 02:35 PM) Ha, k good. I get that it was the guys prime motivation but I'm tired of seeing a new dough faced bruce wayne run that scene every movie iteration. Exactly. And this Batman is supposed to be older, grizzled, mostly done with crimefighting batman. This flashback isnt needed, the character is established.
  5. i bet the Marlins are so excited to get this contract signed for the Yankees or Red Sox

QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 14, 2014 -> 12:18 PM) Is this sarcasm? maybe just a little bit. That origin story has only been told at least 5 seperate times since Tim Burtons batman premiered(Batman Begins, Gotham, multiple animated shows and now BvS)
  7. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Nov 14, 2014 -> 11:56 AM) The thing is, the glaucoma in Puckett didn't develop until months after the injury. He played in the Spring of '96 (and well) but developed a spot in his right eye towards the end. It turned into glaucoma. It was an inglorious end to an amazing talent.

  9. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Nov 14, 2014 -> 12:04 PM) Haven't a few players totally blown out of Nikes? I think they are trying to make shoes so light anymore, they all are pieces of crap. I honestly couldnt tell you, im not much of a shoe aficionado. The first i really have heard about this sort of thing was with Noah, and now with Rose. Granted i dont pay attention to the NBA super close, so i could be wrong.

QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Nov 14, 2014 -> 11:30 AM) Oh for the days when Bill Veeck sat up shop in the hotel lobby "Open for Business." I remember when Kenny Williams did that at winter meetings, people were not happy at all
  11. its the middle of november and we are talking draft. Thanks obama. I mean Emery
  12. QUOTE (StRoostifer @ Nov 14, 2014 -> 10:52 AM) Per mlbtr... 9:36am: Heyman reports that the two sides are very serious about getting a deal done, suggesting that it could end up being for a whopping 13 years. The two sides are said to be on the same page regarding money, Heyman writes, but two non-monetary issues still need to be worked out: a no-trade clause and a potential opt-out clause midway through the deal. One source characterized the negotiations as being on the 10-yard line. 8:40am: ESPN’s Buster Olney hears that one possibility that has been discussed is a 12-year, $325MM contract (ESPN Insider required and recommended). Olney also wonders how the frightening, season-ending injury to Stanton has affected his perspective and influenced his willingness to accept a deal like this. As Olney notes, Stanton acknowledged after the injury that had the fastball which struck his face hit him just millimeters in a different direction, his injury could have been career-threatening. MERCY!!! It reminded me of Kirby Pucketts career ending fastball to the face. Scary stuff
  13. QUOTE (chw42 @ Nov 14, 2014 -> 10:14 AM) Except he went with Adidas...lol. those are probably like pillows on his feet compared to those french bricks he was wearing. I swear there has been at least twice in this short season where i have seen Derricks foot come completely out of his shoe while he was just cutting. Not like it was stepped on and he pulled his foot out, but just cutting to stay in front of his defender and the shoe just stayed behind. you would think with the ankle issues that those shoes would be strapped tight to his feet.
  14. i think the shoe criticism talk may get louder if this rolled ankle stuff keeps happening. It would be REALLY interesting if it comes to a head like it did with Noah, and he decides he needs to wear a different shoe for better support
  15. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 14, 2014 -> 08:25 AM) When he fell down my wife made an attempt at a joke saying "oh he's probably hurt". That's one of the worst death-stares she ever got. THEMS DIVORCIN WORDS WOMAN

QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ Nov 14, 2014 -> 05:08 AM) The excitebike track is the funnest and nostalgic. The F-Zero kart is beast. I forgot how much i loved Warios Gold Mine. Not really a fan of the Epona bike, the handling kind of sucks. But i really like all of Links actions, the sword posing and the triforce popping up above his head after certain moves is really cool. Apparently Link was a big hit online yesterday.....

QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Nov 13, 2014 -> 01:35 PM) Hopefully they had more luck with the game than I did. It took me two hours to install the game and once it finally installed the entire match-making system was down. I was really looking forward to playing some Halo 2 multiplayer, hopefully they get the server issues resolved soon. Kotaku had an articles about how many problems they have been having with online. It surprised me that they hadnt worked out most of the bugs before rolling it out.
