If anyone wants to read something humorous, read Cowleys tweets from the game last night. He clearly thinks Mirotic is nothing more than a project, and says it multiple times in different ways. But when Mirotic started lighting it up, instead of backtracking he started giving him back handed compliments like "what the Bulls have shown is that their 10th man is better than Washingtons 10th man".

The thing that is standing out to me the most is the Bears simply cannot play a complete game from any phase, much less all three going at once. it is always a quarter, or a half, and then it falls apart. And usually it falls apart quickly for all three phases once something goes wrong.

All bears talk aside, it has been a really weird year across the board. A lot of teams expected to be good, not(Patriots). A lot of teams expected to be bad, actually looking decent(Atlanta). Nobody undefeated anymore. Just strange

All that said, he's the QB. Still, season is early but losing the two most winnable games on schedules hurts (Buffalo / Carolina). Carolina is in 1st place in their division though and Lions lost, which was huge. The NFL is just all about paradoy. Key to this season is if team can start doing little things right. If they can, I still think they sneak into playoffs, if not, they are in trouble and we should see some pretty big changes (none of them being Jay or Trestman...barring some unforeseen disaster) and most of them being defense / special teams. Jason, this word is your enemy. Every time, lol
