Im telling you, the director of it knows how to handle the subject matter. He is going to treat Godzilla like he is supposed to, a lot of things will be destroyed

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 25, 2014 -> 08:04 AM) We can't dare boo Jesse Pinkman, can we? I'll be cheering for the guy but I'm worried for him. You walk into RAW promoting a movie that looks as bad as Need for Speed, and you deserve what you get

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 24, 2014 -> 03:02 PM) 16 inch softball sucks. Not a fan either. 12" is much closer to baseball, which I love

It was a table setter episode, but still a lot going on. So far Maggie, Rust, and Marty have all lied to the investigators about a lot of significant happenings over the past 10 years.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Feb 23, 2014 -> 10:33 PM) I don't think I've ever swung a Miken before. With the new ASA regulations, the new Combat bats are hot as hell, especially last year's Derby Boys. I just swung a Demarini J3 today, almost fresh out the wrapper and it felt amazing. I'm seriously thinking about dropping $250 on it right now. There are a few Jeff Halls in our teams bat collection, those are also pretty fun to swing. Our teams best hitter plays with the local combat tourney team, so he has a few combats in his bag too. Personally for some reason I really like the two piece bats. Maybe it is how they are weighted, but they feel great when you hit the sweet spot. But they seem to fizzle out quicker than the one piece bats, and the sweet spot is smaller

Steve Stone to be on the Score
QUOTE (Jake @ Feb 24, 2014 -> 09:21 AM) Isn't that how Hawk reacts to everything nowadays? Hell, one of his eyes is on perma-glaze now GET OUT THE PATCH!

I dont think it is possible that the WWE could have miscalculated Batista's crowd reaction worse than they have. From what I read about the match, the crowd was "Goldberg-Lesnar mania" hating on it.

QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 23, 2014 -> 05:20 PM) Anybody else ever watch "The King of Kong"? One of the better documentaries I've seen. Fitting for today's video game culture. Yea it is good, the rivalry between those guys is amusing

Steve Stone to be on the Score
QUOTE (Jerksticks @ Feb 23, 2014 -> 10:24 AM) You know hawk was right in that whole snafu. Poor guy was set up to look dumb. All he's ever advocated is that stats don't paint the whole picture. He set himself up with TWTW. That was all him, reinforced by him

NBA Thread 2013-2014
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 23, 2014 -> 12:41 PM) Last I read the Bulls were only going to have enough space under the luxury tax to sign guys briefly to 10-day contracts and cut them. Yea KC Johnson keeps saying that too. I'm not gonna pretend I understand the cap so I have no idea if/how it would work

Steve Stone to be on the Score
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Feb 22, 2014 -> 01:07 PM) For all the grief given to Hawk about advanced metrics, Stone has a pretty similar view. I cannot recall he being dissed by it. Stone gives sabermetric stats their due when he can. He doesn't dismiss them, make up his own unquantifiable statistic and then go on MLB Network to argue with a sabermetric friendly analyst about it.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 22, 2014 -> 09:24 PM) SIU back to .500 in the Valley. The league tiebreakers are kind of funky but if we can somehow win the last 2, we'll prolly be the 3 seed in Arch Madness. Crazy. I streamed the Evansville feed to watch the game. Greetings from 2002 internet quality

Thibs and Vogel are pretty similar coaches, I don't think Granger would fit in with the Bulls.

The Wyatt Family vs The Shield Hell in a Cell 5. Titus O'Neil vs Jack Swagger vs Dolph Ziggler for the IC Belt 6. HHH, Randy Orton, Kane vs CM Punk and um...Brock Lesnar and um... Christain with a blue dot 7. Some diva or celeb filler that will have to be on the card 8. Daniel Bryan © vs. Batista Get it done Vince I dont think the Shield makes it past the elimination chamber as a group.

QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 21, 2014 -> 09:59 AM) That would mean he signs a new deal, which I don't think happens. He will, because what else is the guy gonna do? He may be weird, he may talk UFC and stuff, but the guy is a wrestler and he knows it.
