  1. I'm rooting for the twins I kind of like the whole Twins or White Sox taking the division each year minus the Indians a few years ago.
  2. I'm rooting for Madrid to get them now. f*** Rio.
  3. I'm thinking about buying the game so can you add new players to this dynasty. The only reason I haven't bought it yet is because all my friends have it so I just play it there. This would give me more reason to buy it.
  4. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Sep 26, 2009 -> 12:00 PM) Dollhouse was fantastic last night. It's a shame nobody is watching it. Also saw Sunny and Fringe both great efforts. Yes Fringe continues to just be awesome.
  5. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Sep 27, 2009 -> 02:12 AM) he's got a point; there really weren't any good college games on tonight. okay, seriously, Williams says some guys are quitters, ozzie goes off...so who is this aimed at? Who cares about college football, Alexi? Nope. Rios? Maybe. AJ...Paulie...JD...? I guess Notre Dame Purdue coming down to the last minute and a huge upset by Iowa over Penn State doesn't get it done for you?

    LOST!!!!

QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 22, 2009 -> 04:58 PM) http://www.lostuniversity.org The placement test was kinda tough. I scored 16 out of 23 5 years ago today, the Pilot aired. It was tough I got 13 out of 23 and they made me take Lost 101
  8. This is great all around. Cutler and the Ref's face
  9. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Sep 18, 2009 -> 03:28 PM) Welcome! to the dark side
  10. Fringe continued right where it left off last season. It continues being one of the best shows on television and is nearing the top spot Lost on my list of favorite shows.
  11. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Sep 17, 2009 -> 10:53 AM) Excited for Survivor, the NBC lineup, and of course Sunny tonight, but I have to respond to the Entourage statements. I've been watching this show since day 1. Last week's episode was it for me. I'm done, I'm out, it's crap. I love people who give up on shows that they like mid-season let alone mid run. If a show gets old give it a chance, because a lot of shows save themselves after they start dwindling.
  12. QUOTE (jhonnydanks @ Sep 15, 2009 -> 08:55 PM) can't wait to go out drinking and come back to see a 6-4 white sox victory!!! don't. stop. get it get it
  13. How awesome would it be if we got a MNF doubleheader every Monday?
  14. QUOTE (CanOfCorn @ Sep 15, 2009 -> 03:28 PM) So, if we are playing the NL East next year...what's PIT doing on the schedule? I don't necessarily WANT to play the Phils or Mets, but it seems weird that we have the other three teams then Pittsburgh out of the Central. Clues? It's because there is 6 teams in the NL central. So instead of having them go east or west they keep them playing AL central teams. This is what I'd guess.
  15. And remind me again why we're mad about facing Pittsburgh? The more games vs them the better.
  16. I don't get the media loves us thing. It's half and half Lou Holtz loves them and Mark May hates them the same amount so ESPN is evening it out. Obviously NBC is going to like them because they cover them, but other then that its split. Why do you guys care?
  17. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 9, 2009 -> 01:28 PM) Just in time for the Winter of '10 television thread. Lost is special enough to get its own thread

  19. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Sep 8, 2009 -> 08:53 AM) I drove out to South Bend from NY this weekend. I'm not a ND fan (Florida State) but my friends are and since it is ND and has all those traditions I went with them. I used to hate ND for many reasons, but after experiencing the game, the campus, the rituals leading up to the game, the stadium, and the aura surrounding it I got a new perspective. They have maintained pre-game traditions and rituals from the time of Knute Rockne and after witnessing it and being there I really gained a new respect for them. I'm not going to start rooting for them, but I will probably quit rooting for them to lose. That being said, I voted I hate how the media protrays them b/c that still is really annoying. So what do you have to say to this milkman and B>W? There are no traditions with the cubs other then getting drunk and maybe watching a baseball game.
  20. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 7, 2009 -> 07:37 PM) Well, it's not like they were that good or deserved those BCS appearances. He's rightfully on the hot seat because he's not that good at his job. He's had 4 top 20 recruiting classes since coming in, and is no longer forced to play freshman like he was the last two years. He isn't as bad as everyone makes him out to be. Then again I could probably recruit a top 20 class for Notre Dame.
  21. QUOTE (AWhiteSoxinNJ @ Sep 7, 2009 -> 09:15 PM) haha AJ What did he do?
  22. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Sep 7, 2009 -> 04:07 PM) Pretty much. The ND/Cubs comparison is dead on, right down to the so called game experience. Yep because you know the last night Notre Dame won the national championship was in 1908, and the fans love this lovable loser thing that been placed on the team. The fans also love going to notre dame stadium to get drunk and look at the hot girls. Nope the fans actually care about the football game that is happening, and they actually care about the record of their team year in and year out. Why else would Charlie Weis be on the hot seat after 2 bad years right after 2 BCS years?
  23. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 7, 2009 -> 10:18 AM) Well, do you expect me to leave that in there when my post was saying the exact opposite thing? You're right, though. They're very polarizing. Luckily it's been a very good couple of decades for those of us who hate them. And I've only been alive for those decades
