Football is supposed to be played somewhere where players can perform to the best of their abilities. Hence all the b****ing about the terrible field. There's a reason the Super Bowl is played where it is. Now cold I don't have a big problem with, but snow games where it's just a suckfest where no one can do anything, is lame. The whole "TOUGH COLD RUNNING THE BALL BEARS FOOTBALL" identity thing is stupid. Play in 72 degrees and throw the ball 60 times, I could care less as long as it produces wins. Your identity is your record, now the weather you play in.

This wasn't Miracle on Ice 2. It also wasn't one of the best hockey games ever played (though it had some of the best talent ever). Some of the stuff I've seen and heard is way over the top. It's also not THAT big of an upset. It helped a ton because we get a bye and a 1 seed. But if we don't go on to medal, it means relatively nothing. Especially if Canada ends up winning it or medaling. It's all about what lies ahead now. Maybe this is the game that gives them the confidence to win the whole thing. We'll see how it shakes out.
