Long season indeed. Hell, it's not even halfway over yet, but from reading this board sometimes you might think there are only 3 weeks left. Plenty, plenty of time. Best team will finish atop the AL Central.

Last 2 series winners: Angels, Marlins Were they the most talented teams in their years? Doubtful at best You get to the playoffs and see what happens. Plus, the Yankees have not been their normal invincible selves the last few years, not by any means.

The K/BB ratio of 9/0, as many have already mentioned, is a nice sign And i did think he hung a few too many curves throughout the game, needs to keep that thing down in the zone and if he misses he misses in the dirt. "Pitched well enough to get the win" as they say.

If you go back and read the first pages of posts, you'll see that he was way off on his conclusions about Chicago Stadium, Soldier Field, etc. All JimH and I were doing was correcting him. That part is over, Jim H has brought up many points, get over it already.
