  8. we had our chances but hit some hard outs (Konerko and Dye in the 1st to name a few) and into a few hard double plays (thome's and AJ's) all with guys on base but granted, even with those we should have shelled this guy.
  9. because im on vacation in north carolina. i could not believe how bad berman is. i mean, i remember the whole "oh noooooooooo" graffanino play in the alds and some other stuff like that, but last night was just horrendous. after the 4th inning, he said something like "after 4, its the white sox 4-2. bizarre game" yeah, how ridiculous is it that the yankees are losing, and that a-rod made an error. jeeze or on giambi's home run that was a foot over the fence "that ball hit deep to the alley....WAY DEEP to the alley, and its WAY OUTTA HERE! HOME RUN for jason giambi!" not to mention the b****ing about the zone for the yankee hitters and mussina. im sure you have your opinions about berman, and most of you feel the same way i do, but if you didnt get a chance to hear him utter garbage from his mouth last night, there are some samples that really pissed me off.

  19. out of all of the losses, this is one i can live with. we just got beat by good pitching. its not like jon koronka shut us down today, it was johan freaking santana. i was expecting this game to be close either way and the twins just ended up on top. we just gotta wake up and get goin tomorrow.
  20. i thought this was interesting. Jul 20 Daily Southtown's Nathaniel Whalen reports Chicago White Sox SP Javier Vazquez entered play Wednesday, July 19, limiting hitters to a .228 average the first time up and .229 the second time through the order, but that number increased to .349 the third time batters have come up. The same scenario unfolded in the game Wednesday, as he worked five quick innings against the Detroit Tigers before allowing five runs in the sixth inning, with four of them coming on a grand slam. Vazquez said he is frustrated by the results even though he feels like he's throwing the ball well.
  21. im a perfect 5-0 this year at sox games
