QUOTE(danman31 @ Mar 25, 2006 -> 07:27 PM) I think it will be a good hire. His style of ball will be fun to watch if nothing else. the big 12 north will be competitive again hopefully. -

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Mar 24, 2006 -> 05:56 PM) To be fair, he's smelling like roses for now. The thing I'm worried about the most is he says he'll recruit nationally if he has to. That's scary, cause you don't win the Big 12 with Iowa boys. unless one looks like harry potter and one breaks both arms before his first nba game. -

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Mar 24, 2006 -> 11:31 AM) Heh....sounds like more good news.... I will kiss Jason if both Curtis and Will coome back. In other news, Mcdermott used the crapper twice this morning and forgot to wash his hands the second time. -
QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Mar 24, 2006 -> 12:09 AM) That's fine, i just didn't know why you quoted me when i had 2 posts, and only one concerning gonzaga, and it was humor and redick and morrison. I wasn't trying to pour it on, just make a nice joke about it because i don't like morrison or redick. But when you throw everyone into a group, it's not fair. Honestly, i'd just avoid the thread if you know it's coming, that's what i do when illinois loses. damn right, i avoid ku loses for like 48 hours, especially against teams with BB in their names on friday nights in march.. . ahhh life is good, that ugly stache is gone....they wont let him wear that in the pros.

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 22, 2006 -> 01:51 AM) Where is Gene Honda Civic to tell us that Alford to Indiana is still a lock btw? My guess for the final 2 for Indiana as of now is Gillespie from A&M and that Whitman guy that Mark Cuban likes. And I find it pretty funny that Alford wants to dump Iowa for Misery....says all you need to know about the Iowa basketball program. If Alford wants, Ricky Clemons is a suitable Pierre Pierce substitute. -

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 22, 2006 -> 01:03 AM) Hahaha Alford at Mizzou? That is priceless, he's a lot like Quinny Poo only he can't recruit. At least he will be $ in the Big 12 Tourney so the fans will continue to adore him. Make this happen, Alford will fail at mizzou. -
My guys tell me Gillespie is the man, he is awesome.

According to Rivals.com: San Bernardino (Calif.) Valley College's 6-foot-10, 220-pound center Jerome Habel, the second-ranked junior college prospect in the nation according to JucoJunction.com, is making an official visit to OU on Thursday and is on the verge of committing to the Sooners. "Jerome has really taken a liking to the Big 12 and will most likely give a verbal (commitment) to Oklahoma on his trip," Jerome's uncle and recruiting advisor Jerome Vinson said. "He really wants to get this (recruiting) process over with." The 6-foot-10, 220-pounder holds scholarship offers from Oklahoma, Nevada, Charlotte, Connecticut, Georgetown and many other programs have been showing interest too. But, the Sooners have made the best impression on Habel and made him feel the most wanted.

QUOTE(Credepopsup @ Mar 21, 2006 -> 11:44 AM) Sorry about the Spurs-Cubs thing, but the similarites between the two clubs and sets of fans is uncanny. It would be a great effort by Spurs to get 4th place, but I don't see them doing it. Arsenal are running into form and have a slightly easier schedule ahead of them. April 22nd - Arsenal vs Tottenham could be the decider. It should be quite a game. I think im between Arsenal and Liverpool now, based on the fact I hate the yankees. -
QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Mar 21, 2006 -> 10:23 AM) The Big Ten should definitely be down a bit next year. OSU will have a ton of talent, and Wisconsin should be decent with everyone coming back (well, besides Nixon). Also, in a weaker year than normal, I think Michigan could do fairly well. They'll still have a lot of talent, but of course I said that this year too, when injuries and poor defense came back to bite them. The rest of the teams have a ton of question marks. As for the Big 12, why do people think that OU is going to be good next year? They had a mediocre team this year, and they lose their 3 best players without a whole lot of replacements on their roster. They've got some good recruits, but it's not stellar, and only James looks like an instant impact type. OU has an awesome recruiting class next year. They also have reynolds and keith clark.

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Mar 21, 2006 -> 08:38 AM) Well, we still aren't Missouri. The hype machine will now, I believe, switch to Mark Turgeon. Just anyone but Greg McDermott. Also, Wayne Morgan is holding a press conference at 1 today. This should be neat. Nothing will compare to the Ricky Clemons prison tape. -
