How is BA hitting .170 hurting our team? The offense is still best in the league, and his defense does nothing but help the pitching staff. I don't really understand why we need to replace him with someone who might hit better, but be worse defensively (which just hurts our team more than the upgrade in offense will help).

It gives the Sox more easy wins a year, I have no problem with it.

I like AJ, but he doesn't deserve to be an All-Star, especially with all the depth at catcher this year. I doubt Crede will make it, simply because A-Rod is a lock and both Glaus and Lowell have been having great years. Paulie, Thome, and Dye better make it, and MB, Count and Jenks likely will as well. If most of those 6, or all of them preferably, make it, I'd be happy.
