  1. Seeing his name attached to the ball doctoring thing in Anaheim could be a reason.
  2. It wouldn't shock me if he immediately filed to run for President again, that way he can keep "raising money".
  3. Some interesting names in that bunch, including the White Sox clubhouse being referred to.
  4. Unless they cost money, then no.
  5. I learned today that DeVos is a minority partner in the Cubs.
  6. He's been doing this for decades now.
  7. Cleveland is a great baseball stadium. The only thing that bothered me was that it is a pain in the ass to walk a full lap around the lower level. Other than that, great sight lines, love walking it at the top of field level, small feel to the stadium. Not a huge fan of the neighborhood or what there was to do around the park.
  8. You should see the IM's that we got, lol.
  9. greg hasn't been banned or suspended recently. No idea where he is.
  10. Will second this. Granted haven't been there since 2000, and had plans to go back in 2020... Get a baseball field facing room. The view isn't great, but it is cool. Niagara Falls is like a 45 minute drive from there and is every bit as awesome as it is talked about. PIctures don't do it justice. CN Tower is definitely worth a trip if you are into that kind of thing, and walking distance from the park. Toronto is also the nicest big city I have ever been in. People are super nice and friendly. it is clean, it is modern, one of my favorite places in MLB
  11. Yeah, 90 times out of 100, the regular posting public has no idea when someone is banned.
  12. So since it the off season and we are all waiting for something to happen, how about a thread about your travels and hopes to travel in MLB? Make it what you want! -Where have you been, what would you recommend about the park, the town, the tourism, the stay etc? What would you tell people NOT to do there? -Where do you want to go? Why do you want to go there? -What you do you want to see when you are there? -What questions do you have about certain towns/parks/areas etc? Hopefully this goes somewhere good!
  13. The Cleveland ball park expierence is a nice one. I love the park, not as big of fan of the area around the park, but you will have that. Minnesota is on my list of places I want to get up to.
  14. TBH, typically we know pretty quickly, and often give people some slack to see if they can handle acting like an adult. There are a lot of tools, plus an experienced staff with some solid intuition and recall for Soxtalk history. Some people are gone for good, some people get an extra chance here or there. It kind of depends on the history, and how long it has been, plus the mood of whoever is doing account approvals at that time. Once they fall back into the things that got them banned in the first place, they are gone quickly.
  15. Get him out, now.
  16. Also, thanks for reminding me to turn off guest posting reporting. Bye!
