  1. I have to imagine that broadcasting advertising has just disappeared with a lot of businesses not making revenue right now.

  6. We went back and rewatched Sherlock, and also the mid-90's version of The Stand.

  9. Today's rally was mainly due to the Presidents lie about oil supplies and talking to the Saudi's and Russians about a 10 BBL cut in production.

  11. He's right though. This is first time an illness has shutdown the entire country in over 100 years. While Boomers might think that isn't a big deal, they are wrong.
  12. Germany ramped up for this at the same time our leadership was mocking it. They had their first case the day after we did.
  13. I am seeing a LOT of people talking about how they can't file for one reason or another, but mostly overwhelmed systems.
  14. I always thought it started out as a complete mismatch and awkwardness mixed with a crabby old guy, which kind of turned into a long series of inside jokes. I spent a lot of time broadcasting myself, and always paid extra close attention to the home teams announcers and never heard anything like Farmer and DJ.
  15. I could never figure out if they hated each other, or loved each other.
  16. He had health problems for a long time. He had already had an organ transplant (kidney IIRC) and was a big advocate for organ donations. He was immuno-compromised and I remember him not traveling to Toronto during one of the last outbreaks (SARS or something similar) to avoid being exposed.

  19. Part of surviving the isolation section of this is having some sort of a sanity release. For many it is a sense of humor.
  20. We did the same. When we went originally we planned for two weeks worth of meals. The last time we went we stretched out nonperishable supplies out to a month.
  21. They were one of the first places cleaned out by us for both sanitizer and Tp.
