Too risky.

Nice to see the OF go back to looking even maybe league average in most spots.

The injuries to Miguel probably killed that idea. I also think you might be a bit generous in what we can get for Shields. I thinking something like a flawed one big tool player guy who slots at the end of a top 30 list.

Wow. Hopefully they can bottle that up and save it. I am OK with him giving up some hits and runs, versus giving away games and bullpens with tons of walks. Hopefully this is the start of something for Carson. Interesting that this was the first time Seby caught him? Correlation? Will be interesting to follow.

IIRC, ACL surgery maybe?

I am 100% on board with this train. While the Astros might have interest, I also see them as the least likely to pay up.

Mr Roid is one helluva clean up hitter.

Let's hope Frank is half as good at scouting as he was with hitting.

lmao, you are actually trying to hurt my feelings by hating on my hometown? Good lord. You take this way too seriously if your feelings are that hurt.

You also don't win titles when your top drafted player gets career altering injuries, a fact the Bulls know well.

His draft position literally doesn't matter once he is on the team. Either he plays or he doesn't, that is what matters. If his back locks up again, this franchise loses another year and another top pick due to major injury.

7 players went to B-ham, 3 went to Charlotte. Yeah, they can't do all of that internally.

Uh oh, someone is no longer interested...

Still waiting to see who the losers are.

And let's be realistic. If JR REALLY wanted cash, he would sell the team. He could either collect the $20 to $40 million a year the team makes, OR he could sell the team and walk away with his share of $1.5 to $2.0 billion that the team would most likely bring. Especially when all evidence supports that it was JR himself who was the absolute LAST guy to be on board with a radical rebuild in the first place.

I don't know that anyone has said it yet, but the MPJ back injury problems scare the crap out of me. What it would do to the franchise if he goes the Greg Oden route is scary.

Thanks for that update. That explains a lot.

I agree. Their profit isn't $200 million. It is fraction of that. Presenting it like that is dishonst.
