I will also note that the samples are incredibly small on fangraphs, but they didn't seem to hate him as a defender. In 20 innings he played true neutral at 1B and got dinged for range at 3B in 68 innings. Granted we are talking about 2.5 and 7.5 games here so incredibly SSS to be trying to decide a defensive future based on those numbers.
