  1. I would be interested in the physics behind the idea that a windup prevents injuries.
  2. Kind of surprised no one took a chance on him.
  3. And you are the one who brings up your L's from last year when you get beaten.
  4. Hopefully it is a case where the Mets don't enough to win the bidding, but I am not getting my hopes up.
  5. I mean at the end of the day, just move Vargas to 1B and be done with pretending he isn't a terrible 3B.
  6. This is happening no matter what the status of Andrew Vaughn is. In fact he, himself, has been pretty unwatchable since his call up. And if it is only 2 years we are unwatchable, it will be a minor miracle. This franchise has 40 games to make up just to get to mediocre.
  7. So hurt by it, they keep dragging their hurt feelings into these threads a year + later. Oh right...
  8. If only Sox fans would provide more water, their coaches, management and owners are carrying all of the water they can!
  9. In 2024 Martin Maldonado was 41st in MLB framing stats, out of 58. Korey Lee was 52nd. As a team the Sox ranked 29th. Pick your watered down adjective, but 29th speaks for itself.
  10. I think the line just started forming.
  11. When you are as payroll blocked as the Baghdad Bobs of the Sox are telling us the White Sox are, $3 million is actually meaningful in who we can and can't bring in. Emotional is having an irrational attachment to a guy who has done nothing of substance in four seasons, and is quite literally one of the worst 1Bs in baseball when both O and D are factored in.
  12. After watching the last few seasons, this is almost laughable on how far down the list of dumb things this franchise has done.
  13. Don't worry your pretty little heads. We will be finding the next Garcia and Ortega very soon.
  14. This is the Sox list. For my two cents Nicky, Vaughn, Sheets, De Los Santos, Anderson and Lambert all go.
  15. If you want him, non-tender him and sign him back at like half of that price. Quit being stupid with money on mediocre to bad players is a great place to start rebuilding this franchise.
  16. Vaughn should be the easiest of the non- tenders, but you know we love wasting extra money on mediocrity.
  17. They will add more expensive pitching for sure
  18. That has quite literally been the discussion, so please try to keep up. So while you pine for peak Andrew Benintendi, I am going to have for a ceiling.
  19. The Sox have failed at development, so we should punt on development and add 2nd or 3rd tier guys sounds a lot like the strategy in the last year and a half honestly.
  20. MLB had him at #67 on the day of the trade, and #5 in the Red Sox organization. That's a long way from unranked overall and #23 in the Red Sox organization.
  21. This dude has a star starter ceiling he has just GOT to figure out how to pitch an entire baseball season before anyone is going to really go crazy for him.
