  1. On paper they are actually one of the least profitable teams in baseball.
  2. If the White Sox actually took advantage of the market they are in, and ran this franchise like anything but a family convience store, they would be a highly profitable team with a lot more revenue coming in on an annual basis. The disparity exists for them because of their own stupidity and stubbornness.
  3. For #33, this doesn't seem like a great write up.
  4. The great thing about the historic Soxfest was they always ran two amazing parallel paths for entertainment, giving a great experience to both adults and to the kids. I know they are trying to rebuild with the full knowledge that fan engagement is at a multi generational low, but geesh you would think someone would think to do better than this.
  5. That would be great for the White Sox, as they are #1 on the waiver claim slot, plus the Dodgers 40th roster slot probably has more talent than most of the White Sox 25 man roster.
  6. The divide on Colson is WILD, though historically the BA's of the world have been much quicker to adjust to changes in a players performance to move them into a more appropriate range.
  7. I have to imagine a write up for Grant Taylor would be similar, but with a higher ceiling. We have got to get some of these guys to stay healthy.
  8. And the wild thing is that the Sox revenues are basically flat since 2020. Such a waste of a franchise.
  9. Sure, but tons of people will tune it just for it.
  10. I mean exoneration is a legal term with a very specific meaning. You literally can't be exonerated by a private investigation, just like you can't be proven guilty by one. The terms being throw around here casually aren't correct.
  11. I swear I remember reading that the accuser refused to cooperate with the investigation because they were worried about their kid being cut off from support and other vindictive actions, and nothing to do with the accuracy of their statement.
  12. They either have major red flags, or very limited ceilings, depending on which one you are talking about.
  13. I bet they did. Jerry probably asked to include Benintendi.
  14. Boy if this isn't a description of what Sox fans are being asked to do for the next half decade, I don't know what is.
  15. Yep. It's stuff like this that makes the whole "they knew all along" company line a few people are hitched to scream BS.
  16. A national columnist used that phrase exactly
  17. Almost like the guy who has to repeat how HE is the most clear headed one on Soxtalk, as if trying to convince himself first.
  18. Pretty much exactly what we did last year...
  19. "people" didn't forget. It's just one person misusing it to make a non-existent point.
  20. The funny thing is that it took from 2020 until 2025 for the Sox to have a revenue year over 2020. They have also put up paper losses in every season since 2020.
